Eid Mubarak to our Muslim neighbors in Northeast Ohio and those celebrating around the country and world.
This is a bipartisan issue, and I’ll keep working to make OH-11 a safe place to live.
Today, I joined Mayor Justin Bibb and mayors nationwide to discuss removing ghost guns from Cleveland.
I’m proud to advocate for this in NE Ohio and support legislation like the Safer Communities Act, which has provided $1.9 million for gun violence prevention.
These $230B in cuts are an attack on working families, seniors and kids.
We’re fighting back.
Copy: Republicans want to rip food assistance away from millions—including the 75,000 households in my district that rely on SNAP.
I joined my Congressional Black Caucus colleagues to demand they keep their hands off of SNAP.
Women in OH 11 are paid 86¢ for every dollar paid to a man.
I'm supporting the the #PaycheckFairness Act because anything less than $1 is unacceptable! #EqualPayDay
Trump wants to grab control of the Postal Service and sell it off for parts, disrupting vital mail service.
I was proud to stand with our local Letter Carriers and North Shore AFL-CIO this weekend and say “Hell No” to Trump’s takeover.
Northeast Ohio is not on board with the Trump agenda. Thank you to everyone who attended our huge town halls this week in Cleveland Heights and Cleveland - Ward 17.
I’m honored to represent you and fight for our community.
Trump and Elon are threatening to shut down the Social Security Administration and stop seniors from getting their hard-earned benefits.
This is a White House that has contempt for working class people.
My statement on Trump administration dismantling the Department of Education:
This challenge was eye-opening and reinforced why I’m fighting against SNAP cuts. Every family deserves access to healthy, affordable food.
This week, I took the SNAP Challenge with the Cleveland Food Bank at Dave’s in Midtown trying to buy a week’s worth of groceries on just $42, the average SNAP budget per person.
In NE Ohio, 1 in 5 households rely on SNAP to put food on the table.
This challenge was eye-opening and reinforced why I’m fighting against SNAP cuts. Every family deserves access to healthy, affordable food.
Not everyone in Congress is interested in holding Trump accountable.
I am.
We're fighting back, listening to constituents, and standing up for Northeast Ohio.
Trump and Elon don’t care about public schools and the kids in those halls.
I do.
As a proud CMSD alumna, I know that federal funding helps students thrive.
Trump’s plan to dismantle the Dept of Ed. is wrong and we’re going to fight it.
The average SNAP benefit is $6 a day, so I just tried to buy a week’s worth of groceries for $42.
Meanwhile, Trump and Republicans want to cut SNAP to give tax cuts to billionaires.
Make it make sense.

I won’t let Trump take us back to an era of hatred, bigotry, and segregation.
My bill with @raskin.house.gov would codify LBJ’s order and restore these basic antidiscrimination policies.
Unbelievable.
Because Trump repealed LBJ’s 1965 Equal Employment Opportunity Order, our government no longer prohibits contractors from having segregated facilities.
