I wanted to share a few thoughts on the President’s posts and behavior over the Easter weekend.
Let me start by saying that I don’t believe every post, every crazy statement, and every lie from this President deserves a response.
1/6
And on that day where millions of Americans celebrate the triumph of faith over fear, our President chose to spread rage, threaten violence, and glorify destruction.
That’s not strength. That’s not leadership. And it’s certainly not what this country deserves.
4/6
But after more thought, I don’t think this should just pass without saying something.
Easter is about hope. Renewal. Grace. It’s about the possibility of redemption and the responsibility we all carry to be better to one another. It’s a day grounded in faith, family, and peace.
3/6
If we’ve learned anything, it’s that sometimes a response is what this President so desperately craves.
So yesterday, on Easter of all days, I didn’t think it was worth amplifying such unhinged and unbecoming messages.
2/6
In April, we celebrate Arab American Heritage Month by honoring the rich cultures, history, and contributions of Arab Americans in Ohio and all over the country.
Trump says we don't have the money to fund the programs NE Ohio families count on, but now he's asking for a blank check for his war in Iran? What a joke.
This budget is a slap in the face to working Americans. Best believe, it's dead on arrival in Congress.

With energy costs rising -- because of You Know Who -- the last thing we should do is end federal heating assistance.
Another reason why Trump's horrible budget must be rejected.

Happy Easter from my family to yours! He is Risen!
May this holiday remind us all to spread love, kindness, and compassion in our communities.
Opening day is looking more & more like CLE day!
Our returning Gold medal Olympian & Cleveland Heights native, Laila Edwards, just threw the first pitch at the Guardians game today.
What a great way to celebrate her homecoming & the first day of the new baseball season!
Trump’s new budget is disgraceful. He’s asking for $1.5 TRILLION for more reckless war, while he says we can’t afford health care.
He also wants to eliminate heating assistance and Job Corps, and cut FEMA, HUD, WIC food benefits for moms and babies and more.
I’m 100% No.
Nothing like Opening Day in Cleveland! It's great to have the Guardians kick off another season at the corner of Carnegie & Ontario. Can't wait for blue skies, warm weather, and #GuardsBall this season.

My message to Trump is simple: get ICE out of the airports and get ICE out of Cleveland Hopkins.
Add Veterans to the list of people harmed and betrayed by Trump.
While veterans lose their homes, Trump's golfing buddies buy another vacation home.

The cost of living is too high in Donald Trump's America.

The numbers don’t lie, Trump’s tariffs have made life worse for the American people.
It’s been one year since Trump’s terrible Liberation Day tariffs. Prices are up, manufacturing jobs are being lost, and bankruptcies are on the rise.
Trump said he would restore US manufacturing. Instead, his chaotic tariffs have made things worse.
Trump is breaking the economy: fewer jobs, higher costs.
Pam Bondi may be fired, but she still must be held accountable. She remains legally obligated to adhere to our subpoena and appear before the Oversight Committee. @oversightdemocrats.bsky.social will continue our investigations into Noem and Bondi.
Instead of upholding the law, Pam Bondi weaponized the DOJ to avoid accountability, break the law, and go after Trump’s political enemies.
She should be fired. But then again, she never should have been hired.
Oh, and one more thing: RELEASE. THE. EPSTEIN. FILES.
