Last night, I sat down with local farmers to hear what concerns are top of mind for them. We talked about market uncertainty, the Farm Bill, and the government shutdown which is impacting many programs that Illinois farmers rely on.
Healthcare costs are out of control in America and Republican policies are going to make them rise even higher. If they let the ACA tax credits expire, a 60-year-old couple in IL-13 making $85,000 a year will see their health insurance costs increase by $24,861 per year.
