I heard Mike Johnson has been lying saying Democrats are nowhere to be found in DC. That's rich coming from him, the exact person who has kept the House of Representatives closed since September 19.
Mike Johnson, we are ready & waiting for you to call the House back. Stop with the lies and games.

Please, Middlebury students, faculty, and community members, take care of one another as you mourn this devastating loss.
I’m grateful for the efforts by local, state, and federal law enforcement in this investigation and to everyone who played a role in the search. Vermont stands with the Middlebury community during this extremely difficult time.
She was pursuing a double major in computer science and statistics. She was an outspoken advocate for her community as a trans woman and athlete.
I’m absolutely heartbroken for the family of Lia Smith and the Middlebury College Community. As a parent, I’m crushed by this news and grieving for her parents and loved ones. The loss of a child is unimaginable. The community will remember Lia as a bright student, talented athlete, and friend.
So proud of Genesis and all the young people who are being called at such a young age to protect their families against ICE and Trump’s terror campaigns.
Like Genesis said, we will get through this together. But it’s going to take every single one of us standing up for our neighbors and rights.
7 years ago today a mass shooter killed 11 worshippers at the Tree of Life synagogue.

May their memory be a blessing.
Incredibly powerful words from Pastor David Black.
Pastor David Black was shot in the head with pepper balls while attempting to pray for and comfort ICE detainees in Chicago.
I asked him why he feels called in this dark hour to stand up for immigrants.
Please listen to his response. Especially you, Speaker Johnson.
Trump couldn't handle an ad that featured real words by Ronald Reagan and had a temper tantrum so now we're boxed out of trading with one of our biggest trading partners and strongest allies. Pure ego and incompetence are going to economically devastate working families.
Carney: "We can't control the trade policy of the US. We recognize it has fundamentally changed from the policy in the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, & it's a situation where US has tariffs against every trading partner... what we we can control is developing new partnerships, including w/econ giants of Asia"
The American people are enraged. Enraged while walking through their neighborhoods and watching on their screens seeing all the ways Trump is abusing power to empower, enrich, and protect himself while the rest of us suffer.
I heard from people who have experienced ICE's terror campaign in Chicago.
People snatched off the street and disappeared. People dropping their kids off at school. People on their way to work. They're not criminals. They're the backbones of our communities.
Celebrating 21 years married to my wife, Elizabeth! Taking a moment to appreciate all the adventure, ups and downs, laughs, and memories we've had together. Thanks for being an amazing support system to our family. ❤️
Oh and by the way that makes not one, but TWO private jets for Kristi Noem!
While the American people get zip, zero, zilch for health care!
This is insane!
To all who are attending a No Kings rally tomorrow,
Trump and figures in his administration are attempting to smear the rallies as hateful and violent. We know that’s not true, so don’t take the bait. Keep it calm. Keep it safe. Keep it joyful.
See you out there!
Nearly 20 of them are children. American children.
Stephen Miller never actually intended on going after "violent criminal illegal aliens." This is a fear campaign to amass control. And the Trump administration does not care who ends up as collateral damage.
Speaker Johnson needs to stop with the phony excuses and swear in @adelitaforcongress.bsky.social immediately.
