House Republicans just pushed through a bill that:
❌ Kicks 14M off health care
❌ Guts SNAP & Pell Grants
❌ Adds $5T to the debt
❌ Triggers $500B in Medicare cuts
❌ Hikes up energy bills
All to give billionaires a tax break. Shameful. I voted no.

Republicans are pushing a tax bill full of handouts and one of the worst? Eliminating the $200 tax on gun silencers that has been on the books since 1934.
My district has lived through a mass shooting. Republicans should be working to end gun violence, not encouraging it.
I fully support Congresswoman McIver.
These accusations are a blatant abuse of power. As an elected official of NJ-10, @replamonica.bsky.social had every right to visit ICE facilities & conduct oversight.
This is a desperate attempt to silence those holding Trump accountable, but it won’t work.
This May, I’m happy to celebrate Jewish American Heritage Month.
It’s a time to honor the history, culture, & many contributions of Jewish Americans to our country.
This month also serves as a reminder that we must stand united against anti-semitism and all forms of hate.
I’m deeply saddened by this news. My heart goes out to President Biden and his family during this difficult time.
I’m keeping him in my prayers and wishing him a smooth path to recovery.

Nurses are the backbone of our healthcare system. This #NationalNursesWeek, I stand with them in fighting for safe nurse staffing ratios, ensuring quality care for all patients and safer working conditions for our nurses.
Of course I oppose Trump’s budget proposal, which would slash critical funding for education, housing, and environmental programs, and that’s just the start. I won’t stand for it. losangelescountypolitics.com/brownley-tor...
This is the Republicans’ priority as they ignore that working families struggle to afford the basics.
They could have passed Democrats' bill to put a stop Trump's trade war, but this is what Republicans chose to vote on instead.

Scientists who find cures, inspectors who keep our food safe, air traffic controllers who protect our skies. All illegally fired.
I joined federal workers at their sit-in to hear their stories. The good news? We’re winning in court against DOGE & Elon Musk and we’re not backing down.
Trump’s tariffs are driving up prices, killing jobs, & wrecking supply chains. With cargo traffic at ports like LA's slowing down, shelves will be emptier and costs are rising. As a member of the @waysmeanscmte.bsky.social I’m working to stop Trump's trade war. localnewspasadena.com/2025/voodoo-...
This Teacher Appreciation Week, I’m sending a heartfelt thank you to all the incredible educators in CA-28 and across the country.
To every teacher out there, thank you for shaping young minds, building brighter futures, and giving your all every day. 🍎📚✏️
Trump said he’d lower prices on “day one,” but that was a lie. Trump's tariffs are extra costs passed on to consumers. Trump should reverse them immediately to ease the burden on the American people. www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/u...
No more excuses. Trump's attacks on democracy are so extreme that even Trump-appointed federal judges believe that he's breaking the law.
Due process matters in America. www.cnn.com/2025/05/01/p...
Trumponomics in action, except they're failing.
The U.S. economy shrank 0.3% these past few months, driven by the uncertainty of Trump’s erratic policies. Trump is hurting workers & driving up costs for everyday Americans. www.wsj.com/economy/us-g...
Happy Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! As the first Chinese American woman in Congress, I’m proud to highlight AANHPI stories, struggles, and triumphs. Our history is American history. Always and especially this month, we celebrate it.
One word for Trump’s first 100 days? DISASTROUS.
Prices are up, essential programs are under attack, and Americans are suffering.
@housedemocrats.bsky.social are fighting back in Congress, in the courts, and in our streets. We won't back down.
This was entirely avoidable. Trump and his Rubber Stamp Republicans are wrecking the economy, and we're only 100 days in.
Americans deserve better.

I’ve looked into the eyes of families shattered by gun violence. For AG Pam Bondi to call lifesaving prevention “wasteful spending” is cruel & dangerous. Monterey Park lost 11 lives. We won’t forget & we won’t stop fighting to prevent the next tragedy. www.washingtonpost.com/national-sec...
Today, House and Senate Democrats reintroduced the Equality Act. 🌈🏳️🌈
With LGBTQ+ rights under attack in Trump’s America, it’s so important to ensure every American has equal protection under the law. As a co-chair of the @equality.house.gov I’m committed to making that happen.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
