Texas Republicans are trying to cover up the deadly toll of their extreme abortion ban.
"Texas officials will not investigate pregnancy-related deaths for 2022 and 2023, skipping over the years immediately following the state’s controversial abortion ban."
The deadline for Medicare Open Enrollment is coming up!
Because of the Inflation Reduction Act I voted for, Medicare out-of-pocket prescription drug costs will be capped at $2,000 a year starting in 2025.
Don’t miss out - visit medicare.gov or call 1-800-MEDICARE by the December 7th deadline.

GOP Representative John Duarte, who just lost his seat in the elections, explicitly tells Reuters that farming interests in his California district depend on undocumented immigrants—and that Trump should exempt many from removal. newrepublic.com/article/1890...
Earlier this year, I led a push with other Texas lawmakers to make sure USPS understood how mail delays would hurt San Antonio and the Rio Grande Valley. Mail delivery is important and needs to be reliable across South Texas. 2/
Good news ahead of the holiday season: USPS has decided NOT to merge the San Antonio and McAllen mail processing centers – moving away from a proposal that could have slowed down delivery across our region. 1/

Tom Homan, Trump’s incoming “border czar,” has defended deporting U.S. citizens along with their undocumented loved ones and the use of the U.S. military for his mass deportation agenda, saying, “no one is off the table.” We should believe him. open.substack.com/pub/zacharym...

Mayor Peak’s legacy will live on with the parks, trails, and public spaces that he worked to build for all of us to enjoy. May he rest in peace. 2/

Mayor Howard Peak was a dedicated public servant, an urban planner, and a lifelong believer in San Antonio’s future. I’m saddened to hear of his passing and my heart goes out to his loved ones. 1/

Whatever a border czar is, they don't have arrest authority. Federal law enforcement officers do, pending judicial enforcement. Consultation with prosecutors is the norm for pre-planned arrests & here's the kicker: people being arrested must have actually committed a crime.

Patients are already dying because of this extremist abortion ban - how many more will die as more doctors are forced to leave?

Until Congress can pass common-sense gun safety laws, it’s up to Texans to protect our communities.
