First he fired a U.S. Attorney for refusing to prosecute his political opponents. Then he installed a political aide and ordered them to come up with trumped-up criminal charges. It's corruption & an abuse of power by the President. abcnews.go.com/US/former-fb...
The Trump administration leaked @repsherrill.bsky.social’s military records & personal info. It's not only a violation of privacy–it's against the law. Trump is weaponizing the government against his political opponents. Today it's someone else, tomorrow it could be you.
Republicans are in power. They can stop a shutdown. Instead of doing their jobs, they’re inflicting real pain on working people. Trump & his billionaire buddies (who just got a massive tax cut) won’t be hurt in a shutdown. But the American people will.
Thank you to the hundreds of Coloradans who attended my Affordable Housing & Family Resource Fair! I hear from Coloradans every day who tell me how affordable housing would change their lives. In Congress, I’m focused on lowering costs–including the cost of housing.
1,301 days into this terrible war, Trump says what most Americans have known all along—Russia started this war. If Putin nominated him for the Nobel Prize, I'm sure Trump would change his position again. With Trump, it's always about Trump.
Things are too damn expensive. People can’t buy a home. Folks are about to see massive health care premium increases. They cant afford their prescriptions. Meanwhile, Trump is doing nothing to make it easier. In fact, his tariffs are making it worse.
An attack on one person’s freedom is an attack on all of us. That’s what Trump is doing – attacking all of our rights. He is labeling those who disagree terrorists, scum, and enemies of the state. They want to decide what is hateful, or who can speak. We can’t be silent.
Housing is too expensive & rising costs are hurting too many Coloradans. I’m hosting a free Affordable Housing & Family Resources Fair. If you’re looking for affordable housing or a new home, join me & dozens of community organizations Wednesday! RSVP: crow.house.gov/news/events
America is at best when our alliances are strong. When we retreat and isolate ourselves from the world, it hurts our economy & makes us less safe at home. The President is failing to lead at a critical moment.
Trump to the UN: "I'm really good at this stuff. Your countries are going to hell."
We must stand for free speech & democracy. Trump is exploiting the death of Charlie Kirk to try & silence opponents. Introducing a bill w/ @chrismurphyct.bsky.social to protect Americans from politically motivated harassment & prosecution by the federal government.
Once we start letting those in power decide who has the right to speak, protest, and dissent, we are in a dangerous place. Whether you are a Republican, Independent, or Democrat–now is the time to stand up and say NO.
A White House official accepted $50,000 in cash from undercover FBI agents as a bribe in exchange for federal contracts. Pam Bondi and Kash Patel knew. But Donald Trump's administration shut down the investigation. Pure corruption—top to bottom.
Every American must condemn political violence. We can have real debates and disagree with one another, without attacking and killing each other. America deserves leaders who work to heal & bring the country together after tragedy, not divide us further.
Media corporations, universities, law firms––they’re all shamefully bowing to pressure from Donald Trump. He is trying to create a culture of fear and intimidation. But the American people are standing up. They are saying no and enough is enough.
No matter who’s in charge, you have the right to speak your mind, protest, and question authority. Those fundamental American rights are under attack. If we lose that right–we all lose it.
