I visited the Food Bank of the Rockies to see first-hand their important work to help Coloradans in need. Trump & Republicans just made one of the largest cuts to food assistance for low-income families & children. In the richest country in the world, no one should go hungry.
Union workers get the job done! 💪 Great to stop by Sheet Metal Workers' Local 9 to see hard work in action. I worked in construction to put my way through school, so I know the value of a hard day’s work. I am proud to stand with workers fighting for fair wages.
Vladimir Putin only understands real strength. Here's what he cares about: - Economic sanctions - Diplomatic isolation - Military defeat Trump isn't applying real pressure to end this conflict. Instead, he's giving Putin military fly-overs & rolling out the red carpet.
Great meeting with Hiroyuki Okajima, the Consul-General of Japan in Denver. We discussed the strong business ties between our two countries, including many Japanese businesses operating in Colorado. The U.S.-Japan alliance is based on many shared values & interests.
Trump once again got played. Instead of rolling out the red carpet for a dictator who murders civilians and kidnaps children, the President should be pressuring Putin to end his aggression against Ukraine.
Fox: I think we're all waiting for the read out because the way it felt in the room was not good. It seemed like Putin came in and steamrolled, got his photo with Trump and left
Let’s set the facts straight about the war in Ukraine: - Russia started this war - Ukrainians are the victim in this conflict - Russia has kidnapped thousands of Ukrainian kids - Russia continuously bombs civilian infrastructure This war will not end by President Trump coddling Putin.
Great to meet with our state’s colleges & universities at the Colorado Capital Conference! Investing in education helps to grow our economy & set workers up for successful careers. Thanks to Senator Bennet & Senator Hickenlooper for hosting!
The House isn’t voting for SIX WEEKS. Republicans shut down Congress to avoid a vote releasing the Epstein files. It's a shame—the American people deserve the truth.
Hosted a town hall with local leaders and the NAACP of Aurora to discuss important issues on the minds of Coloradans in our community. Thank you to everyone who came out. I’ve got your back in Washington.
🚨Big milestone! My office has now returned more than $30 million back to Coloradans! Whether you need help with an IRS refund, Social Security benefits, or another federal agency, #TeamCrow is ready to serve.
Visited the Rocky Mountain VA in Aurora! Appreciated the opportunity to speak with the center's leadership, conduct critical oversight of taxpayer dollars, and see their work to treat PTSD. As a veteran myself, I know we must ensure our veterans have world-class care.
Everyone wants Russia to stop its aggression & for an end to the war in Ukraine. But Trump keeps handing Vladimir Putin victories. Meeting in the U.S., without Ukraine at the table, is exactly what a dictator like Putin wants.
Americans deserve affordable prescription drugs. Democrats capped the cost of insulin at $35/month & forced lower price negotiations. Donald Trump & Republicans are protecting Big Pharma.
Pets are family. No one should be forced to decide between having a roof over their head & keeping their pet. I'm introducing a bipartisan bill to better support homeless shelters so that people don’t have to part ways with their pets.
Today, I led a Congressional oversight visit to Aurora’s ICE facility. We will not be deterred from doing our jobs, & that’s why we made this visit . Ensuring that we know what is happening in these facilities has never been more important. I will not stand by as the Trump Admin to break the law.
