It’s no secret, I’m a big fan of Bravo TV… Below Deck, Vanderpump Rules, and of course RHOC. Today, I got to ask RHOSLC’s Angie Katsanevas about her experience as a salon franchiser and the importance of building a sustainable model for our businesses to grow into franchising. (1/2)
Today in 1973, the landmark Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade codified a woman’s right to choose. Since then, we have faced major setbacks in protecting the right to abortion. In the Pentagon, I fought to expand access to reproductive care and in Congress, I will continue the fight.
It was great to join the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) this morning and speak on the importance of uplifting our AAPI community. From small businesses to local leadership and culture, diversity is what makes our communities thrive.
Congratulations to Glendora Hills Pet Hospital on your ribbon cutting and grand opening! On behalf of all of CA-31’s furry friends, welcome to the district and thank you for keeping our pets healthy and happy.
It was great to join West Covina’s 27th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day hosted by the SGV NAACP. The fight for civil liberties, equality, and justice is led by incredible leaders like the ones we have here in CA-31. I am proud to work alongside our community for a better future.
Today we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Leading our nation to a new beginning of civil rights through peaceful protest and powerful speech, he inspired generations to come together and fight for a more free and just country.
Congratulations to Agence on a decade of success and your ribbon cutting ceremony with the San Dimas Chamber of Commerce. Wishing you the best success for years to come.
ICE is illegally prohibiting us from doing those very things by blatantly disregarding the law keeping us in the dark about the treatment of everyone in these facilities.
I followed all the laws. My constituents signed the required privacy forms. My staff gave ICE a 24-hr notice of my arrival. I even brought a copy of the court ruling letting ICE know that I have the right to go in. Still, I was turned away & denied the ability to speak to the people I represent.
Congratulations to the City of Azusa on their grand opening of their new boxing program. May this program serve our residents and build champions inside and out of the ring.
Yesterday, I stopped by Sweet Savory Cafe and Bakery with San Dimas City Councilwoman Rachel Bratakos to grab some delicious treats and discuss how we can work as partners to best support our San Dimas community.
When my office was reached out to by our constituent, Darius from Monrovia, to assist with his daughter’s immigration case, we were able to help him secure her visa and bring his family together. If you have issues or delays with a federal agency, my office is always here to help.
ACA tax credits expired at the beginning of the month & families have been struggling to manage the soaring costs of healthcare. The House passed an extension last week with unanimous support from Democrats. Now, we need Senate Republicans to drop their procedural games & pass this bill now.
From Medicaid cuts to rising grocery costs, we cannot afford the Trump agenda. I spoke with my constituent, Toby, on how their family is impacted. The House passed an extension on the ACA tax credits and now the Senate must stop delaying to pass the bill. We need affordable healthcare.
We need to support the efforts of the Iranian people without irresponsibly taking military action. Our national security and safety of our servicemembers overseas should remain a top priority.
