The House Judiciary Committee is wasting time on a hearing called ‘Sanctuary Jurisdictions: Magnet for Migrants, Cover for Criminals.’ I’ll be there to set the record straight: it’s Trump’s reckless immigration policies that are endangering our communities—not sanctuary cities.
Republicans used to say “undocumented immigrants don’t pay taxes.” Now the IRS is handing their tax data to DHS… So which is it?
Seems like you’d have to pay taxes to even have tax data…
They fired Navy Vice Admiral Shoshana Chatfield—not because she couldn’t do the job, but because she wouldn’t hang up pictures of Trump and Hegseth. This ain’t about merit—it’s about ego.
Need help with a federal agency? Have a question about case work? Come out to our mobile office hours on April 16, 2025 at the MLK Community Center in South Dallas! Team Crockett can’t wait to see you there!
DOGE Oversight Subcommittee held a hearing on reducing federal property. All they said was “fire sale” this, “fire sale” that. Meanwhile, they’re lighting all of this s**t on fire — while their incompetent leader wastes millions of taxpayer dollars golfing, all while steering us towards a recession.
Let’s be clear: Trump’s plan to fine migrants $998 a DAY and steal their property is NOT about border security. It’s about pushing fear-based rhetoric—and it’s giving fascism.
“For the convenience of the U.S. Government.” That’s the reason the Trump Administration gave the World Food Program for cutting food aid to starving people. Literal children will go hungry. This is sick.
This ain’t The Apprentice—Trump can’t just fire Dems from federal labor boards like it’s reality TV. This is a huge win for democracy and workers’ rights.

Elon’s DOGE is expected to come for Homeland Security next — with cuts to critical agencies like the Secret Service and FEMA. Our national security is NOT a game, and Elon sure as hell shouldn’t be the one playing it.

Trump’s out here swinging golf clubs while folks are in the streets fighting back. Voter suppression, wild tariffs, & straight-up disrespect for democracy—Folks are fed up, Trump & Elon. #HandsOff
This is an administration full of TV stars and the rich, and they are running our country into the ground. Can you guess who will suffer the most? Those facing poverty and the disabled community. This is not a game.
Almost half of the country’s health insurance now rests in the hands of a man who once sold miracle pills — with zero proof they worked — on daytime TV.
So let me get this straight—Trump hit places with NO people and NO trade with the U.S. with tariffs… and it’s literally just penguins out there? PENGUINS???
Trump isn’t just playing with fire — he’s lighting the whole damn thing up. Ruining our economy, raising costs for everyday working Americans, causing stock markets to fall, and slapping tariffs on 185 countries.
This is not leadership.
Too many people are being misled or left in the dark when it comes to abortion care. That’s why Rep. Goldman and I re-introduce the Abortion Care Awareness Act of 2025.
Sen. Booker just broke the record for the longest floor speech in Senate history—a record set by Strom Thurmond trying to block the Civil Rights Act. The irony ain’t lost on us. From fighting against justice to fighting for it. This is what courage & being on the right side of history looks like!
These Republicans will bend over backwards for their overlords—Trump, Musk, whoever’s cutting the checks. They really thought they could come in here and strip federal courts of their power to push an unconstitutional agenda. Not on my watch. I’m here to call out hypocrisy & protect democracy.
So Speaker Johnson threw a tantrum today & canceled votes for the rest of the week because he couldn’t wrangle enough support to block new parents from voting in Congress. I guess when you don’t get your way, you just shut it down and send everyone home? The American people didn’t elect us to pout.
