On this 37th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre, we remember the protestors who lost their lives at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party for bravely standing up for democracy and freedom.
Let us honor their courage by keeping their history alive, free of any censorship or redactions.

Questioned deceitful Treasury Secretary Bessent about enabling one of the most corrupt deals in American history, giving Trump a license to steal. The type of immunity from IRS audits granted to Trump is not available to anyone else. American families suffer while Trump & his gang enrich themselves.
He provided leadership not only in his precinct and networking with national groups, but by going door to door through Westlake Hills. His passion and commitment have made a true difference. He will be missed by many. My thoughts are with Patsy, his family and many friends during this difficult time
For decades Lou McCreary has been a valued progressive voice in Travis County and beyond. An able attorney, Lou advocated for renewable energy, environmental protection, health care & retirement security, and advancing progressive values.
Republicans called a hearing to consider fraud legislation, but most bills did nothing to address it and others offered non-solutions.
Meanwhile, they remain silent as Trump pardons one health care fraudster and denies defrauded victims millions in restitution.
My remarks on their hypocrisy.
On to victory for the Spurs in the NBA finals!
During my time representing San Antonio in Congress, I cheered on the Spurs as the legendary Tim Duncan led them to the championship in 2014.
Now, it’s time for this new generation of players to do it all over again. #GoSpursGo
Attention student loan borrowers currently enrolled in SAVE plan: Starting July 1, millions will need to opt in to a new repayment plan for federal student loans.
You can read more details on your options and a timeline of these changes below.
While Trump and his enablers cut medical research and obstruct access to health care for millions of Americans, they seek to cover their tracks with nominal bills that will not meaningfully improve care. My remarks on the urgent need to reverse these devastating health cuts.
Trump’s illegal “national emergency” tariffs were struck down—but the damage to small businesses is already done. And instead of making them whole, he’s signaling he’ll go to court to stop businesses from getting the refunds they’re owed. They paid the price. He’s trying to deny them relief.
As a proud Vice Chair of the @equality.house.gov, I'm working in Congress to defend the LGBTQI+ community’s rights.
Happy Pride! As we begin this month celebrating the LGBTQI+ community’s history, strength, and resilience, we must also recommit ourselves to the fight for equal rights for all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity and expression.
Speaking to the American Chamber of Commerce in Riga- American companies doing business in Latvia. Most Americans are America first, but not America alone as Trump has positioned us. Global trade & cooperation, respect for our allies, reliable relationships are vital to our security and prosperity.
In an unprecedented deal, Trump negotiated with his former criminal defense attorney, whom he appointed acting Attorney General, to prevent audits of his tax returns or any filed by his family and their businesses. I offered an amendment to block this deal and ensure no person is above the law.
Trump promised to bring prices down on Day One. Instead, inflation is now rising at its fastest pace in over three years.
Last week he claimed he cut drug prices for Americans by 600%. But his own Commerce Department reports drug prices rose another 4.1%—already the highest in the world.
Neither “all the chocolate chip cookies you can eat” and all the MAGA hats you could want, nor Trump’s repeated threats of military force, have caused Greenlanders to surrender. Congressional Republicans could learn from them.
Trump has paid less taxes than a public school teacher, at times paying nothing. In a bogus settlement deal, he negotiated with his own admin to avoid an audit of his tax returns. I filed an amendment to ensure Congressional oversight of this corrupt deal and consideration of legislation to block it
[2/2] Responding forcefully to Russian aggression & war crimes is the only way to preserve freedom and security.
[1/2] Noting the extraordinary impact of drones in changing warfare, Sir John Stringer, NATO Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe reported at Drone Summit that over 90% of Russian casualties in the Ukraine war were caused by drones.
Visiting with Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Olexandr Mischenko at Drone Summit. Ironically, drone development grew out of Ukrainian desperation to survive after GOP blocked US military assistance, followed by Trump’s disgraceful treatment of Zelensky and eagerness to side with Putin.
[2/2] If Trump’s pal Putin is permitted to overcome courageous Ukrainians, his next likely aggression could focus on Moldova, Poland or the 3 small Baltic countries.
