Say you don't have a healthcare plan without saying you don't have a healthcare plan.
BARTIROMO: How do you want this to play out once the ACA subsidies expire? DR OZ: We have lots of great ideas, but I don't want to show our cards. As the president often says, why would I telegraph to you what we're gonna do?
The Senate might fold, but I sure as hell won’t. Families are getting crushed by rising costs & as these healthcare tax credits expire, it’s only going to get worse. And now the Senate wants us to “trust” them to fix it later with a debate on a bill, maybe? I’m a F-NO!
#TeamGomez presented a Congressional Record to Alma Family Services for 50 years of providing social services to communities across LA. We’re grateful for their lasting impact on LA & thrilled to have partnered with them on the Girls Today, Women Tomorrow Youth Center renovation.
🚨BREAKING: A federal judge just ordered Trump to fully fund SNAP for November by tomorrow. Because apparently the President needs a court order to force him to feed hungry families.
A federal judge in Rhode Island has said the Trump administration must fully cover food stamp benefits for tens of millions of Americans in November. https://cnn.it/47KumOX
ICE is active in the Salvadoran Corridor in LA terrorizing our community. You DO NOT have to speak to them. Stay safe and share this so people know their rights.
Of course the president who threw a Gatsby party during a shutdown is now REFUSING to feed hungry families, even after a court ordered him to. Should we really be surprised?
NEWS: Trump says he will refuse to follow a court order demanding that he provide SNAP benefits to millions of Americans, choosing instead to force people to starve
You really don't know a lot these days, huh Mike...
RAJU: Last week you were very critical of Biden's use of the autopen. But Trump admitted on 60 Minutes to not knowing he pardoned a crypto billionaire who pleaded guilty to money laundering. Does that also concern you? MIKE JOHNSON: I don't know anything about that. I didn't see it. I'm not sure.
Haven't gone far enough?? Any further and ICE will be deporting Melania...
O'DONNELL: Americans have been watching videos of ICE tackling a young mother, tear gas being used in a Chicago residential neighborhood, and the smashing of car windows. Have some of these raids gone too far? TRUMP: No. I think they haven't gone far enough.
SNAP benefits are uncertain during the Republican shutdown, but food help is available. Our community takes care of each other. If the shutdown has you worried about food or SNAP/ CalFresh benefits, here are trusted local resources and food distributions across LA.
Federal judges just ruled what we’ve been saying all along: suspending SNAP during a shutdown is unlawful and cruel. Millions of families shouldn’t have to rely on the courts to keep food on the table. The administration must release the funds now.
Two federal judges rule the Trump administration must tap into billions in emergency funds to at least partially cover food stamp benefits in November https://cnn.it/4ok7bSI
All it takes is a Google search to realize Kristi Noem is lying through her teeth.
Kristi Noem: “There's no American citizens that have been arrested or detained. We focus on those that are here illegally. And anything that you would hear or report that would be different than that is simply not true and false reporting.”
In 5 days, SNAP benefits run out for 42 MILLION Americans. This crisis is completely avoidable. Right now, Trump's sitting on billions of dollars in reserve funding for exactly this purpose but choosing not to use it. He'd rather let people go hungry.
Trump said he’d fix inflation on day one. We’re now EIGHT MONTHS in and prices are higher than ever. Trump never actually cared about helping working families. And on top of that, Trump is going to hike health care costs and take away food assistance for millions of Americans.
Reporter: The annual inflation rate moved in the wrong direction from 2.9% to 3%, a new 8 month high. When Trump was on the campaign trail he was saying inflation was out of control, but you can see clearly we're in a worse spot now than we were last fall when inflation was maybe the biggest issue
Over $2,000,000,000,000 in new debt from Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill, all to give tax breaks to billionaires and the largest corporations. And Republicans call themselves the "party of fiscal responsibility." What a joke.
BREAKING: The United States hit a record $38,000,000,000,000 in national debt. It was $36 trillion at the start of the year. What happened to DOGE?
So we’re giving Argentina $40 billion AND buying their diseased beef? When Trump says “Buy American” this is what he means.
CNBC: Is importing beef from Argentina a possibility? BROOKE ROLLINS: Yes, the president has said he's in discussions with Argentina. It will not be very much. Argentina is also facing a foot and mouth disease issue.
