Yesterday, I joined my colleagues in the Oregon delegation to hear from and speak to public servants who have been affected by DOGE's reckless cuts. To all federal workers: your stories are the best weapon you have. Share them. We stand with you, we will protect you, and we will fight alongside you.
This WEDNESDAY, join me and End Citizens United Pres. Tiffany Muller for town halls in FLORENCE and SPRINGFIELD. We will provide updates on what is happening at the federal level, talk about what we are each doing to combat the chaotic policies of this admin, and take your questions. See you there!

TSA Officers are the front-line defense at airports for millions of families who travel. Removing their collective bargaining rights is union-busting. That's why AFGE is suing the Department of Homeland Security. America's unions will always fight for federal workers’ rights and contracts.
Contempt for working people isn’t a good look.
I’d rather stand with someone who earns their wages honestly by taking care of people, than one who is willing to sell off our govt to the highest bidder.
If history teaches us anything, it’s that it’s never a good idea to appease a wannabe dictator.
House Democrats stood strong, Senate leadership needs to do the same.
I’m sorry to learn that my colleague, Representative Grajalva, has passed away. He was a strong advocate on environmental issues and he will be sorely missed.
Republicans control all of Congress and WH. Since Election Day, all they talk about is their ‘mandate’ and how they don’t need Dems. Now it’s our fault THEY can’t pass THEIR bill?
We won’t roll over on the values half the country sent us here to represent. If you want our votes, include our ideas.
My Democratic colleagues and I have made it clear: we are united in support of a four-week spending bill that restores Congress’s power of the purse, keeps government open, and allows for an actual bipartisan solution. I will stay in DC as long as it takes.

We’re glad to have Gwynne Wilcox back on the @nlrbgov.bsky.social board!
Because of her commitment to fighting for working people and her refusal to stand by after President Trump illegally fired her, the NLRB can now get back to work.

Thanks again to @repvalhoyle.bsky.social for inviting us to be part of a tele-town hall last night. We heard from so many Oregonians w/personal stories of how federal firings and funding cuts are impacting them. These stories help us in our legal fight to protect our citizens!
This bill enables the President and his administration to spend taxpayer dollars however they want and without accountability or oversight from Congress. I voted no.
My statement on today’s continuing resolution. ⬇️
Over 10,000 people in 2 days!
Thank you so very much to all of you who joined us over the past 2 nights on our tele-town halls.
Like I said tonight: Stay tuned for our in-person town halls which we will announce soon!
The 1st Amendment guarantees a right to free speech, not just speech you agree with. Mahmoud Khalil is a legal resident and deporting him because the admin doesn’t like what he said without any due process, is a blatant shredding of our Constitution. This is a dangerous precedent.
Today, I joined over 150 of my Dem colleagues to call out Pres Trump's firing of the USPS Board of Governors. The USPS is often the only carrier that delivers vital supplies, like meds, to our rural areas. We should be investing in the USPS, not finding ways to remove its independence & shutter it.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
