Before coming to Congress I spent 25 years working on the international trade of U.S. goods. Tariffs are a tool that must be used with extreme precision and not as a blunt object. These tariffs will raise prices for all Americans. This is just a #TrumpTax.

Yesterday afternoon, a federal judge temporarily stopped the freeze due to its unconstitutionality. As a result of our pressure OMB rescinded their guidance about who would be directly impacted.

Later that morning, OMB released an update that any government funding that goes directly to individuals, like Medicaid and Head Start, would not be affected - but we immediately got reports that access to this funding was shut off.
