I read the classified legal memo and disagree that military strikes on drug boats are legal (w/o congressional war authorization). But nothing in the memo would authorize strikes on boats not even headed for the U.S. That’s just straight up murder. DOJ must open investigation.
BREAKING: Boat blown up by U.S. military in Caribbean waters WAS NOT HEADED TO THE U.S.! The justification for killing these people was the claim they were bringing drugs to the U.S Not true! The military says they were going to a small country near Venezuela. www.cnn.com/2025/12/05/p...
Health care costs are skyrocketing, grocery prices continue to increase and electricity costs are surging. What is the Trump Administration focused on? Reducing free entrance days to our national parks, denigrating African Americans, and engaging in cult-like dear leader shit.
Donald Trump just removed Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth from the list of free entry days at national parks. They are being replaced with Trump’s birthday.

Let’s be very, very clear: Striking shipwrecked survivors is a war crime. Straight up. We need the Department of Justice to open an investigation. If they don’t, a future Administration will.
As a former prosecutor, I know a grand jury would indict a ham sandwich. The grand jury’s refusal today to indict Letitia James shows this case should never have been brought. When we flip the House, we will investigate everyone involved for abuse of power.

Survivors of human trafficking deserve justice and compassion, not criminalization. Pleased that the House passed our bipartisan legislation to provide much-needed relief to trafficking survivors.
Picture of the Capitol with text in a box overlayed that reads, "House passes the bipartisan" with additional text highlighted in yellow that reads "Trafficking Survivors Relief Act." Additional text at the bottom in a black-filled box reads, "Led by Reps. Russell Fry, Ted Lieu, Ann Wagner, and Hank Johnson, this bill provides federal criminal record relief to survivors of human trafficking who committed non-violent offenses as a direct result of their exploitation."
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is unfit to serve. He leaked classified information on Signal, potentially putting military pilots at risk. He then refused to cooperate with the IG. He lied about a war crime, and then threw Admiral Bradley under the bus. Hegseth must resign.
BREAKING NEWS: Pentagon IG says of Hegseth's use of Signal, "The information could have imperiled American troops." If Hegseth values our troops as much as he says he does, he should resign and allow someone more experienced to lead the Department of Defense.
Trump’s economy sucks. 32,000 jobs were lost in the private sector last month. The policies of Trump and rubber stamp Republicans are crushing the American people. And what is Trump focused on? Making his Great Gatsby ballroom even bigger. And sleeping at Cabinet meetings.
🚨 CNBC on latest jobs numbers: "A big miss on ADP payrolls. The private payroll company saying private payrolls shed 32,000 workers in Nov. That's the 4th negative number in past 6 months. The estimate was for +40,000, so the street was off ... this may be coming from being hammered by the tariffs"

AI has made it easier for scammers to take advantage of people. We need to implement sensible guardrails on the ways AI can be used to cause harm. That’s why we introduced the bipartisan AI Fraud Deterrence Act to combat fraud committed with AI.
Pleased to introduce bipartisan legislation with Rep Dunn to crack down on fraud and scams committed with AI, including deepfakes.
Pleased to introduce the AI Fraud Deterrence Act today with Rep. Dunn which would expand penalties for AI scams and deepfakes, including impersonations of federal officials. Our bipartisan goal is simple: Deter people from using AI to commit fraud.
At the top, a red “exclusive” box is above white text from an NBC headline that reads, “Proposed AI fraud bill seeks to criminalize deepfakes of federal officials,” overlayed a darkened picture of the Capitol. At the bottom is a photo of Rep. Ted Lieu outlined in red with a tweet from Jared Polo that reads, “Exclusive: New proposed AI fraud bill will seek to criminalize deepfakes of federal officials (outside of satire, etc.) The bill, from @RepTedLieu (D-Ca.) and @DrNealDunnFL2 (R-Fl.), would also update definitions and penalties for fraud to account for the rise of AI” and a screenshot from the top of Rep. Lieu's bill.
Want another example of the White House treating Republican Members like garbage? The WH is trying, again, to jam through an unrelated AI moratorium on states after the first try failed 99-1. The White House has largely ignored rank and file Republican Members on AI issues.
Fascinating grievance from an unnamed House Republican to @jakesherman.bsky.social: "This entire White House team has treated ALL members like garbage. ALL. ... They don’t even allow little wins like announcing small grants or even responding from agencies." punchbowl.news/article/hous...
The harmful policies of Trump and rubber stamp Republicans are crushing the American people. -Grocery prices are up -Car prices are up -Healthcare prices are up And what is Trump focused on? His parties with billionaires, his used jet from Qatar, and his Epstein ballroom.
Ahead of Thanksgiving and amid frustration among American consumers over affordability, President Trump has recently insisted, often wrongly, that prices and costs were coming down. Here is a fact-check of some of his recent claims.

The Trump Administration’s cuts to the Office of Space Commerce could jeopardize space traffic coordination, critical defense missions, and commercial space operations. Leading bipartisan demands with Rep. Don Bacon to OMB Director Russ Vought to enact full funding for the OSC.
White and blue text overlayed a photo of Earth from space: “REPS TED LIEU & DON BACON LEAD BIPARTISAN DEMANDS TO FULLY FUND THE OFFICE OF SPACE COMMERCE”
