The Trump kids won’t have to go fight in an illegal war for their draft dodging dad with "bone spurs." It’s working class kids who die in wars waged by rich men—not the children of the billionaire Epstein class.
These planes cost $100 Million. Each. $300 million dollars could have provided 139 MILLION meals for hungry people in America. Trump betrayed America first—he picked military adventurism abroad over feeding kids and seniors here at home.
American troops killed. 20% of global oil & gas traffic halted. U.S. bases under attack. Trump admin says it could last for a month & won’t rule out troops on the ground. Saying this "isn't a war” is the stupidest thing I’ve heard in a long time. And I'm in Congress.
Hunt: “Did the president not run on not starting a war with Iran?” Sen. Mullin: “He ran on ending wars. He's ended eight of them.” Hunt: “He started this one.” Mullin: “This isn’t a war.”
This is disgusting. These things don’t just “happen.” They happen because he started an unprovoked, illegal & reckless war. No more American deaths, no more misguided military adventurism, no more endless war.
a slurring Trump in new video on American troops killed by Iran: “Sadly, there will likely be more before it ends. That's the way it is. Likely be more.“
Trump spent a decade selling "America-First" isolationism. No more endless war, no sending Americans to die in the Middle East, he said. He lied. Why? Follow the money. He's just another neocon shill for Big Oil & Middle East autocrats. Many of us tried to warn you.
I pray for all our brave servicemen and women—as well as all the innocent civilians—whose lives Donald Trump has recklessly put in harm’s way with his illegal, unconstitutional war.
Congress should immediately be called back to Washington to vote on these illegal strikes—that is what the constitution and the laws of this country demand. Instead, Speaker Johnson has called off votes for Monday and Tuesday.
Is Donald Trump confused about why he’s starting this war? Maybe he needs to have his memory checked. Less than a year ago he told us Iran’s nuclear program had been “obliterated.” Now he says we need more strikes. Was he lying then? Or is he lying now?
This is an illegal war that could easily escalate in dangerous and unpredictable ways into a wider regional conflict. Have we learned absolutely nothing from our decades of endless war and reckless attempts at regime change in the Middle East?
President Trump said that fighting with Iran could persist for four weeks. “It’s always been a four-week process,” he told the Daily Mail. “It’s always been about a four-week process so — as strong as it is, it’s a big country, it’ll take four weeks — or less.”
The Trump administration’s blockade of Cuba not only causes unacceptable humanitarian suffering, but raises the risk of conflict. Yesterday’s deadly boat skirmish shows how things could escalate. Both governments should talk to each other like adults. Now.
Last night, Trump lied and lied, and Republicans jumped to their feet in cult-like obedience to shower their dear leader’s lies with fawning praise every chance they got. It was a display that would make even Kim Jong Un blush.
