This evening, I voted to stop President Trump’s unconstitutional Iran War for the fourth time. Democrats were finally joined by enough Republicans to assert Congress’s constitutional War Powers authority and direct President Trump to withdraw U.S. forces from direct conflict with Iran.
Bill Pulte has absolutely no business serving as Acting Director of National Intelligence.
Simply put: A person who has zero experience in intelligence, national security, or defense should not serve in one of the most important national security roles in the government.
As the school year wraps up and the summer break begins, students and families facing food insecurity can utilize the Summer Food Service Program to fill the nutrition gaps. Visit the link below to find a site near you. education.mn.gov/mde/dse/fns/...
"I'm worried about how I'm going to eat," says Miyah Monk, a 23-year-old who spent her childhood in a foster home. In the latest example of Trump's cruelty, his Big Ugly Law is stripping SNAP from young Minnesotans transitioning out of foster care.
Congratulations to Dave Winfield — MLB Hall of Famer, Saint Paul legend, and now the subject of a brand new bronze statue honoring his legacy on the field and his impact on student athletes in Saint Paul and beyond.
Secretary Hegseth continues to block the promotion of senior officers at the Department of Defense who happen to be women and minorities. He is playing politics with our military. Our service members deserve better.
The school year is ending and summer is almost here! Saint Paul offers a wide range of summer programs that keep kids engaged, active, and learning all summer long. Visit the link below for more details.

The stunning array of white graves blanketing Arlington National Cemetery reminds us of the collective sacrifice of generations of American service members. President Trump's arch would replace that view with a monument to his ego. I'm supporting Rep. Don Beyer's bill to block it.
Coming soon to the East Side: The newly-renovated Plaza del Sol — a food hall with six vendors, a commissary kitchen, a community space, an event center, and a business incubator. Glad to see great progress on this project, supported in part by a $1M grant I secured in 2022.
Thanks to the residents of Lexington Landing in Saint Paul for welcoming me into their home for a thoughtful discussion about what's happening here in Minnesota, the latest in Washington, and developments around the globe. Always grateful for the opportunity to listen.
President Trump promised to lower costs on day one, but he’s only rewarded himself. Now he’s building a White House fighting cage for his birthday, while you pay more for gas, groceries, health care, and utilities because of his Iran War, tariffs and Big Ugly Law.
Eid Mubarak to all those celebrating here in Minnesota and around the world today! May this day fill you and your loved ones with peace and happiness.
It was a privilege to join the White Bear Lake community in honoring our nation’s service members this Memorial Day. Today, Minnesotans and others across this nation came together to remember our fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice so we can live in freedom and seek justice for all.
As we spend time with loved ones this Memorial Day, may we also take a solemn moment to reflect on the sacrifices made on our behalf and honor the memory of those who never came home.
We remember them not only as soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines, Guardians, and Coast Guardsmen, but as sons and daughters, husbands and wives, mothers and fathers, friends and neighbors who gave everything in service to others.
Our fallen servicemembers and their families are more than patriots — they are heroes to whom we owe a debt that can never truly be repaid.
This Memorial Day, I join Americans across our country in honoring the servicemembers who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation and the values of freedom, justice, and democracy.
Tomorrow marks six years since George Floyd was murdered. While we have made great progress to improve safety and accountability here in Minnesota, we must do more in Washington to honor his legacy by passing the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act. Progress cannot wait.
