If you make under $14,000, the Republican budget will cost you $1,125 a year. If you make under $38,000, it will cost you $430.
But if you make more than $650,000 a year, you'll get handed $43,500.
Happy Tax Day.
The richest 1% are responsible for 30% of all unpaid taxes—amounting to $205 billion annually. That’s $562 million in unpaid taxes per day, or $6,500 every second.
By gutting the IRS, Donald Trump & Elon Musk are making it easier for their rich buddies to keep cheating. #TaxDay
Social Security isn’t a Ponzi scheme - it’s an earned benefit.
But Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and their GOP accomplices in Congress are undermining the SSA & its services to achieve their ultimate goal of destroying Social Security.
Happy 414 Day, Milwaukee! As your Congresswoman, I’m proud to celebrate our vibrant city—its people, culture, and spirit.
I pledge to work tirelessly for ALL residents, ensuring every voice is heard and every neighborhood thrives.
Every day we see Republicans capitulate to Donald Trump.
Secretary Rubio, what changed since 2016 for you to debase yourself in front of the entire world to defend a dictator?
1. Fire CDC workers responding to bird flu outbreak
2. Import eggs from other countries
3. Place tariffs on the imports from said countries
4. ????
Donald Trump's reckless firings of federal workers combined with haphazard tariff policy is doing NOTHING to lower costs.
This week the Wisconsin GOP congressmen abdicated their oversight roll as members of congress when it comes to tariffs.
Have they forgotten the trade war's toll on our farms under Trump 1.0? Prices tanked, exports plummeted, and family farms suffered.

Every single Republican in the Wisconsin Congressional delegation just voted on a budget resolution to cut billions in federal funds for BadgerCare, directly endangering their most vulnerable constituents, while adding trillions to the national debt.
"GOP leaders have repeatedly stressed that their bill does not explicitly cut Medicaid... However, Medicaid will likely get cut by $880 billion as [it] comprises most of the committee's budget."
The math is simple. Republicans are cutting Medicaid.

Nobody could say it any better than my @waysmeanscmte.bsky.social

Trump has no trade strategy. We watched his lead trade advisor find out about the tariff pause while testifying before our committee.
No details, no plan. Just improv.

The American people aren’t looking for a handout: they want to do their jobs without their own president putting them at a huge disadvantage.
The President claims his tariffs will create manufacturing jobs and investments in America.
But his trade ambassador doesn't have an answer for the timeline.
How long do they expect Americans to be patient and face 'temporary pain'? (their words)
WATCH! ⬇️⬇️
Markets in chaos, ignoring Trump's pleas to 'stay cool.'
Retaliatory tariffs unleashing price increases.
No rate cuts rescue from the Fed.
So he turns to Republicans in Congress to slash taxes for billionaires — his only play left in the book for the new 'Golden Age.'
Republicans perpetuate stereotypes about people who receive government aid as a cover for stripping billions from the social safety net.
ICYMI in the news surrounding the market-crashing global trade war, a reminder that Donald Trump and the GOP are working to pass ANOTHER tax scam of giveaways for billionaires to the tune of trillions of dollars added to the national debt.
Enriching the rich insiders has always been the end goal.
The risks of a recession have practically DOUBLED since Donald Trump took office.
He took an economy poised for a soft landing and drove it in to the ground.
Education remains the great equalizer in our society.
I oppose any and all efforts to dismantle the Department of Education, erase U.S. history, or ban books.
Every child deserves access to quality public education, no matter their ZIP code.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
