ConEd Customer Assistance Day: 5/15
I’m partnering w/CM Sandra Ung to host a ConEd Customer Assistance Day on Friday, May 15, from 10am–3pm! Learn how to read your bill, understand your rates, sign up for a payment plan, & explore assistance programs, including options for seniors. RSVP required.
Proud to have secured over $3M in federal funding for Queens College! I visited to see the impact firsthand—expanding their tech incubator to support local entrepreneurs, launching a nanofabrication research hub to help detect cancer cells, & building the first cybersecurity program in Queens.
I’m hosting a telephone town hall on Tuesday, May 19, at 7:00pm EST! Join me to ask questions & learn more about what I'm doing to confront the challenges New Yorkers are facing.
RSVP & ask a question: meng.house.gov/resources/rs...
Proud to celebrate United Federation of Teachers and Council of School Supervisors & Administrators members at my union appreciation event. Our educators and school leaders are the backbone of NYC, and I’ll keep fighting to ensure they have the support and benefits they deserve.

My Safe Check-ins for Immigrants Act would ensure a safe, secure way for people to meet requirements & pursue legal status without fear. (2/2)
ICE agents have been causing chaos in our communities for months. Law-abiding immigrants are being detained at routine check-ins—that’s not enforcement, it’s intimidation. (1/2)
This is the relief Americans need.
Utility bills are too high and they're still rising. They’re up 13% nationwide under Trump.
Democrats’ Affordability Agenda cracks down on utility monopolies, cuts wasteful spending, and prioritizes cost-saving investments. It will put about $500/year back in families’ pockets.
Being a mom to my two boys is easily my favorite job! Wishing a Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, grandmothers, and caregivers who hold our communities together.
Today, we celebrate the strength, sacrifice, and love you show every day. Thank you for everything you do. 💐
They deserve more than just our thanks, but real support and the resources they need to succeed.
Thank you to all the teachers making a difference every day. 🍎 (2/2)
This Teacher Appreciation Week, I’m proud to honor the educators here in Queens and across the country who go above and beyond for our students every single day.
Teachers don’t just educate — they inspire, mentor, and help shape the future of our communities. (1/2)
Weekend Office Hours: 5/9
My team & I are hosting weekend office hours Saturday, May 9, 10am-1pm, at my Forest Hills District Office! Stop by to ask questions & receive assistance with federal agencies like the IRS, VA, Social Security, & more.

I was proud to secure nearly a million dollars for NICE: New Immigrant Community Empowerment! Let's take a look at how they're putting those dollars to work to support families in Queens.
The MTA has a lot on its plate, but Elmhurst can’t be overlooked. It’s long overdue. Let’s get it done.
I joined Council Member Shekar Krishnan and community leaders today calling for the MTA to reopen the LIRR station in Elmhurst.
Reopening this LIRR station would be a major win for Elmhurst and surrounding neighborhood — expanding transit access and meeting growing community needs. (1/2)
Grateful to speak at the Korean National Prayer Breakfast. At a time that is very uncertain and even scary for many in the Korean American community, it’s more important than ever for us to come together, lift up our community leaders, and pursue peace and justice.
I’ll keep fighting to help them grow and succeed in Bayside and across Queens.
Honored to speak with the Bayside Business Association! Small businesses are the backbone of communities like ours—but tariffs and rising costs are putting real pressure on owners. They deserve the relief the President has been promising for months. (1/2)
Owning a home should always be within reach for families—it’s a core part of the American dream. (2/2)
