As we ring in the New Year, I’m grateful for the communities that make South Jersey such a special place. Here’s to a new year of working together, looking out for one another, and continuing to deliver for our neighbors.
Congrats to the workers of UFCW Local 152 at TQ Baking in Vineland on ratifying a strong new contract. They secured across-the-board raises, affordable union healthcare, better retirement benefits, and improved safety and time off. Proof that when workers stick together, they win.
The clock is running out. ACA tax credits expire at the end of the week, putting affordable healthcare for South Jersey families at risk. Speaker Johnson must put the bill to extend these tax credits on the House floor for a vote ASAP!
This has been an incredibly tough year for our healthcare workers. Through staffing shortages, rising costs, and constant political pressure, they kept showing up for their patients. They deserve support, not cuts to funding.
America is already too expensive. I’m working to make healthcare more affordable for all by fighting to make the enhanced Affordable Care Act tax credits permanent.
Wishing a joyful Kwanzaa to all who are celebrating. May this season of reflection and renewal bring unity, purpose, and strength to families and communities across South Jersey.
Merry Christmas, South Jersey! I hope this holiday brings you peace, joy, and quality time with loved ones.
Christmas is about spending time with family and this Christmas I’m especially grateful to be able to spend time with mine. Merry Christmas, South Jersey!
Last-minute holiday shopping means long days for delivery workers. Thank you to our delivery drivers and USPS workers for keeping things moving when it matters most.
The cost of Christmas keeps rising while paychecks don’t. Families shouldn’t face financial stress during the holidays. It’s time to raise the minimum wage and put more money in workers' pockets.
Let's be clear: only Congress can change the Kennedy Center’s name, and President Trump’s obsession with branding everything after himself is unacceptable. The Kennedy Center exists to honor our nation’s arts, not Trump's ego.

Winter weather has a way of transforming South Jersey. Take a look at this snowy view and see if you can guess where in South Jersey this was taken.
Today is the deadline for the Trump Administration to release the Epstein files. Under the Epstein Files Transparency Act we passed last month, the DOJ is required to make ALL records publicly available. Americans deserve to know the truth.
Six years ago today, the US Space Force was created, strengthening our nation’s defense and space capabilities. Today, we recognize the servicemembers working to protect our national security in space.
As the year comes to a close, families need certainty. Allowing the ACA tax credits to expire would mean higher premiums and less access to care. It is a shame that Republicans canceled votes today instead of working to solve this crisis.
On this day in 1956, the Montgomery Bus Boycott came to an end after more than a year of courageous, nonviolent protests. What a powerful reminder that collective action and courage can change the course of history.
Happy Birthday, New Jersey! Since we became the 3rd state admitted to the Union on December 18, 1787, the Garden State has always punched above its weight. From our workers and small business owners to our communities and families, there’s no place I’d rather call home.
Across the country, families and communities are coming together to light the menorah and celebrate Hanukkah. Do you know where in South Jersey this menorah is?
As we wrap up the year, we’re still focused on the same thing: showing up for South Jersey. From answering calls to solving problems, here’s what we accomplished together in 2025.
Today I’m remembering my friend Rep. Donald Payne Jr. on what would have been his 67th birthday. He brought Jersey values to Washington every day, led with kindness, and never forgot who he was fighting for. We miss you and your bow tie, Don.
