🔥Congrats Zohran! This victory is a model for the kind of grassroots leadership and working-class coalition building needed to beat Donald Trump’s authoritarianism and billionaire-class oligarchy. It proves that a politics rooted in solidarity and that puts people first can win.
From Chicago to New York, wishing Team Mamdani a great election day. The people of New York deserve a mayor that will fight for working families and hold the billionaire class accountable. Let's go Zohran! The people are with you! @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social

The truth is simple: trans people didn’t ship our jobs overseas. Immigrants didn’t cut millions of Americans’ healthcare. The real problem is obscene wealth concentration and corporate greed. We cannot get tricked by their scapegoating.
As we file for re-election at such a dark time for our communities, I am more clear than ever on why you sent me to fight for you in DC. We will continue to challenge the status quo, keep fighting to advance a working people's agenda, and stand up to confront authoritarianism.
While masked agents continue to kidnap our neighbors, my colleagues and I are not standing down. We are motivated by all the rapid response teams that courageously protect our communities every day.
Delia Ramirez speaking at a podium joined by elected officials at the Cook County building.
As everything we care about is under attack, we need leaders who will boldly fight for the schools and fully resourced public education system every community deserves. I am excited to continue partnering with her to fight for all our communities in her new role.
Thank you to Carmen Velasquez and Maricela Garcia for everything you continue to do to honor your roots and fulfill our ancestors wildest dreams; and to our beautiful community who refuses to let this fascist administration break our spirit. We will keep going. Para siempre. 🌸💪🏽
Last week we gathered for our inaugural Mujeres al Poder luncheon where we lifted up two women, Carmen Velasquez and Maricela Garcia, whose leadership and legacy inspires us to persevere, even as our communities are under attack.

⚠️ Very important: This is not a raid in schools and not aimed at all children. The operation is said to focus only on unaccompanied immigrant children. Call the FSN hotline 855-435-7693 option 1 for raids and options 2 for deportation defense

Jimmy Kimmel isn't returning to the airwaves because of "thoughtful conversations" with Disney executives. He's back because consumers sent Disney a clear message: selling out our fundamental rights is not an acceptable cost of doing business.
