(1/2) I joined #veterans, Congressional partners and VSO leaders for an on-the-record roundtable on the redevelopment of the West LA VA campus — a long-overdue project that I’ve proudly helped support, including securing $1.5 million in federal funding for permanent supportive housing.

And just like that, we ended the Valley Cultural Foundation summer concert series at Warner Center Park with a bang!
Once again, thank you to every constituent who stopped by to say hello. It’s always a pleasure to see the community while enjoying great music and great company.
It was great to join the faith community at Poder de Dios church in Reseda. Thank you for being a pillar in our community, your work and leadership is important and does not go unrecognized.
Starting soon, the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs Democrats @democrats-veterans.house.gov will be hosting a Roundtable titled, “Forward Together: Creating Community on the West Los Angeles Department of Veterans Affairs Campus”.

But the problem isn't the scale...(2/2)

First, #DonaldTrump tossed the Labor Stats chief after a bad jobs report — like a bathroom scale that told the truth.
Then he fired experts after their report on Iran’s nuclear progress.
No matter the issue, Trump keeps using the same tactic: break the scale, pretend the weight’s gone. (1/2)
The march for our democracy continues in Studio City. Thank you #IndivisiblesAF and #StudioCityRising for your energy and vigilance. And for the sunscreen.
Huge thanks to everyone who showed up, to those who cheered us on from their cars, and to the always inspiring, ever-vigilant team at #StudioCityRising. 2/2
Every Saturday in Studio City, the fight for our democracy continues. I’ve been proud to speak out and stand alongside others at about a dozen of these gatherings so far. 1/2
Today, our community came together to recognize their extraardinary courage - not with ceremony, but with heartfelt respect, deep gratitude and a shared commitment to never forget their sacrifice. 3/3
These heroes didn't hesitate when our homes, neighborhoods, and families were in danger. 2/3
This morning, I had the honor of joining our San Fernando Valley community for "Breakfast with the Brave" at @lafd.bsky.social Station 39, a powerful tribute to the firefighters who courageously risked their lives during the January Los Angeles #Wildfires 1/3
These families are not just headlines or statistics. They are our neighbors, our classmates, our coworkers - all living in fear.
This should not be happening in America. We must end the cruelty. We must protect families. 2/2
Today I met with a courageous mother whose family is being torn apart by recent #ICERaids
She shared how her daughter was taken. No warning. No timeline. Just gone. 1/2
Except those in the #EpsteinFiles
Always a pleasure to join Ma'Dame President Townsend and the Regional Cal Black Chamber of Commerce SFV, and to celebrate your outstanding work to empower small, minority and women-owned businesses in the San Fernando Valley.
The Jewish community needs real support and decisive action to confront this hatred—now more than ever. 3/3
The ADL, which tracks antisemitism nationwide, including online hate, has found that I am currently the most targeted member of the House of Representatives. This isn’t just about me; it reflects a broader and deeply troubling rise in antisemitic rhetoric. 2/3
I met with leaders from Anti-Defamation League to discuss the outrageous rise in Antisemitism in the United States and in my district. The latest incident, from this past weekend, involved swastikas marked on the banner of a local elementary school. 1/3
That is why I introduced the Click to Cancel Act with @magaziner.house.gov and @deluzio.house.gov, a bill to make all of these traps illegal and ensure subscriptions are fair, transparent, and as easy to cancel as they were to sign up for. 2/2
