While I have fought for a later deadline, this three-week extension provides immediate relief to those who have not registered yet.
I will continue to advocate for a longer application period, however the new deadline is March 31 and a further extension is unlikely.
FEMA & SBA announced the deadline for victims of the #LosAngelesWildfires to apply for aid has been extended by 21 days.
The new deadline to apply for FEMA and most SBA disaster assistance is March 31.
Even if you do not know if you are eligible, apply now on both the FEMA and SBA websites.
In addition to Trying to fire air traffic controllers, #ElonMusk's efforts have led to the Actual firing of the employees that maintain the air traffic control equipment.

Is #ElonMusk working for #Trump, or Putin?

I joined Spectrum News 1 SoCal to share my thoughts on President #Trump's Address to Congress.

Great meeting with Ambassador Lilit Makunts to discuss strengthening the U.S. relationship with #Armenia, fostering deeper ties through a double taxation treaty, and justice for the people of #Artsakh.
I am proud to once again help introduce the Protecting the Right to Organize Act with @bobbyscott.house.gov @laborcaucus.bsky.social
We must pass the #PROAct to strengthen labor rights across the country and afford every worker the opportunity to join a good-paying union job.
So far, not a single line has prompted Democrats to stand and applaud. (2/2)
#Trump’s Joint Address is by far the most partisan Presidential address to Congress in American history.
I’ve attended 29 of them, and all the others contained dozens of bipartisan applause lines. Both sides stood multiple times, praising our troops, veterans, teachers, and first responders. (1/2)
#Trump says everyone is perfect as God made you.
Of course he’s had cosmetic surgery, including scalp reduction to avoid looking bald.
Donald you should know: Bald is beautiful.
#Trump wants to gut Social Security. So he tells lies. Says Social Security is paying folks who are over age 150.
This lie has been completely debunked ⬇️

#DOGE has moved to defund the police on Wall Street offering SEC employees $50K to quit now. A bargain for #ElonMusk and his billionaire friends to clear out the corporate cops and let insider trading run free.
Don't defund the police. Stop crime in the streets, and in the suites. (1/2)
Thank you House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and @repgregstanton.bsky.social for hosting a roundtable to discuss the #LosAngelesWildfires
We must reject calls from Trump to abolish FEMA, and FEMA/SBA must extend their March 10 deadlines.

#Trump said we’d be tired of winning.
What he meant was we’d be tired of #Putin winning.
‘Why in God’s name should Trump get a thank you?’: Fmr. Russia ambassador shreds Vance over Ukraine
@jenpsaki.msnbc.com and panel discuss the potentially disastrous consequences of Trump's Oval Office meeting with Zelenskyy.

I spoke on the Floor of the House where I described how #ElonMusk's mistakes don’t just cause chaos, they cost lives.

At today's @ushousefsc.bsky.social hearing, I emphasized how we should not subsidize investment in China's economy through our capital gains allowance, nor should we hand #China influence over Pacific nations just to save a few dollars in aid.

I also spoke with many who sadly lost their homes and are rebuilding their lives in the wake of the #PalisadesFire (2/2)
Today I joined Chabad of #PacificPalisades for Shabbat services where we prayed with broken hearts for the souls of Kfir, Ariel and Shiri Bibas z”l.
May their memories be for a blessing, and may we pray for the healing of their surviving family. (1/2)
