Finally, a step in the right direction.
Last month I called on the Interior Department to release nearly $500 million in dedicated drought funding to support Colorado River conservation. This week they finally announced plans to do so, allowing Arizona to keep leading the way on conservation.

It was great to host @whipkclark.bsky.social for an important conversation with Arizona labor leaders about how we can better support and promote women in the workforce.
Strong labor and family policies will grow our economy.
Dick Mallery was a driving force behind the development of the Phoenix Biosciences Campus and the successful recruitment of TGen. He lived a life in service to our city and he will be greatly missed.

Trump's budget would slash funding for K-12 schools by billions of dollars and eliminate crucial programs for vulnerable students.
I met with @neatoday.bsky.social Arizona to discuss how we can fight back and support students in need across the state.
Federal researchers should be able to focus on science, not politics. We need to restore reproductive freedom and end this assault on our health infrastructure now.
Louisiana is trying to restrict access to mifepristone nationwide — even in states where abortion is legal.
I joined over 250+ congressional Democrats calling on the Supreme Court to reject this partisan assault on reproductive health and attempt to politicize the FDA.
Orgs like Native Americans for Community Action, Native Health, NAC Phoenix, & the National Council of Urban Indian Health are on the front lines delivering healthcare to Native communities in AZ.
We had a productive discussion on how we can move forward together. Thanks for all you're doing!
This year's Congressional Art Competition brought out incredible talent from across AZ-04.
Congratulations to this year's first place winner Dahlia from Marcos de Niza High School, whose painting "The Pumpkin Patch" will be on display in the U.S. Capitol later this year. Well done, Dahlia! 🎨
I'm keeping these families in my thoughts today — especially the family of Emily Pike, the 14-year-old San Carlos Apache girl murdered last year whose case remains unsolved.
Today is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.
Behind every unsolved case is a name, a family, and a community that never stopped searching.
¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo!
Today we celebrate the resilience and pride of Mexican Americans — and the spirit of the Battle of Puebla that has inspired communities across Arizona ever since.
Great to speak with GPEC last week alongside Pres. Christine Mackay.
AZ's economic success is built on strong partnerships between local leaders, the business community, & Congress. From our semiconductor boom to water infrastructure, I'll keep working with our partners in GPEC to deliver for AZ.

Proud to welcome @mcbride.house.gov, my @newdems.bsky.social colleague, to Tempe to hear from families and advocates experiencing the real pain of Trump’s affordability crisis.
The New Dem Affordability Agenda is our response, a comprehensive plan that will lower costs and support families.
Every American and small business paid the price for Trump's illegal tariffs, and they deserve their money back.
That's why I helped introduce the RELIEF Act to make sure small businesses get their refunds, and why I'm fighting in Congress to ensure you can get your refunds too.
Trump called it "brilliant" if companies pocket the money for themselves, saying the refunds might eventually "trickle down" to you.
We’ve seen this movie before. That money won’t go to working Americans, it's just another transfer of wealth from your wallet to mega corporations.
While companies technically paid for Trump's tariffs, they passed those costs on to you.
Costs have soared because they raised prices on groceries, clothes, school supplies, and more. You paid the bill, they kept the profits.
And now they're getting the refund that belongs to you.
The Supreme Court ordered Trump to refund $166 billion in tariffs he illegally collected from families and small businesses.
But here's a catch: that money isn't going back to you, it's going straight to corporations.
🧵 Here's the scam…
The right to make your own reproductive health care decisions was settled law for nearly 50 years.
I’ll keep fighting to restore reproductive rights as the law of the land.
