The Speaker canceled votes tomorrow and refused to hold a vote on extending the ACA. What did my colleagues use their last remaining hours on the floor to do?
Attack healthcare for low-income LGBTQ+ kids one week from Christmas, & two weeks before millions of Americans lose support for healthcare.
The American people demand a healthcare vote now!
218 Members of Congress—including all 214 Democrats and 4 Republicans—have signed a discharge petition to force a vote on extending the ACA credits. We are calling on the Speaker to bring it to the floor now—before shutting down the House!

Speaker Johnson’s decision to NOT allow a vote on ACA subsidies is a slap in the face to every American who will see their healthcare skyrocket on January 1st.
Hardworking Americans deserve healthcare that won’t send them into crisis or crippling debt. The House GOP does not seem to care.
