We’re here! But guess what? … All the doors are locked as the GOP cancelled votes and is pushing us towards a government shutdown.
I’m headed back to D.C. We’re just over 36 hours from a government shutdown, and the House GOP is nowhere to be seen. As in—literally not headed to work.
From canceling votes, to refusing to negotiate, to threats of mass firings—here’s how the GOP is pushing towards a shutdown and what it means.
I get asked all the time, “Does my voice even matter? Does calling my members of Congress even do anything?”
YES! Your calls are the reason why the public lands sale was taken out of the big, ugly bill. So keep calling, speaking up, and using your voice!
Friends, I’ll be on the radio all weekend giving updates on what’s happening in Congress! Tune into KKOB this evening at 5:30 pm MT, KTBL, KNML, KRST, and KMGA tomorrow at 6:00 am MT, and KDRF tomorrow at 5:00 pm MT to listen!
Happy #NationalPublicLandsDay, New Mexico! Today, all National Parks are FREE!
Today, we honor the lands and waters that sustain us. Public lands are more than just beautiful places—they’re where we connect with nature and with each other, with our culture, language, history, and belonging.
Taking a quick break on this busy day to give you the latest on the budget and looming government shutdown, James Comey indictment, and our work to support our communities.
If you need any assistance at all, call our office at (505) 346-6781 or visit our website, stansbury.house.gov, for more!
🚨 NEW Epstein File Drop 🚨 Just received by Epstein Estate ⬇️⬇️⬇️ #ReleasetheFiles
This is not normal.
We’re 6 days out from a government shutdown and the GOP has canceled votes, is refusing to negotiate, and is planning mass firings. Here’s what you need to know ⬇️
Protect our lands and keep our roadless areas ROADLESS!
Rolling back the Roadless Rule would be devastating for New Mexicans and wildlife alike.
That’s why the entire NM delegation is urging Secretary Rollins to exclude NM from any attempt to rescind this rule. We won't back down.
We’re days from a shutdown, and the GOP is refusing to negotiate, canceling votes, & playing political games with American lives.
Meanwhile, the President is giving dangerous & unhinged speeches at the UN—sabotaging our global standing.
We need our leaders to stand up & protect our communities.

We refuse to stand idly by as this administration, with the stroke of a pen, takes away good-paying union jobs from workers.
We took over the House floor to call out Trump’s anti-jobs agenda and stand with workers✊
Friends—I’ll be LIVE on Instagram tomorrow talking all about Climate Week! Have any questions on climate change or climate action? Comment down below!
Tune in tomorrow on Instagram at 5pm MT / 7pm ET!
Here’s the link to my IG: www.instagram.com/repstansbury/
Happy Monday! It’s Climate Week in New York. This week, national, global, local, tribal, non-profit, and private sector leaders are all convening to talk about climate change, climate action, and the work to ensure a just transition.
We’re excited to be here repping our communities!
From the failure to prosecute, to the political appointment, to the lack of remorse, and to the current failure to disclose the Epstein files—screams cover-up.
We won’t stop until we uncover the truth.
When the President calls for the DOJ to target his political opponents—AND publicly—that’s a sign we’re heading for increasing authoritarian behavior.
We’re going to have to fight like hell to protect our democracy.
Amazing news! The Economic Development Administration has awarded the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center $1.5 million for its Entrepreneur Complex!
This investment will invest in a core economic engine supporting Indigenous entrepreneurs right here in the heart of NM-01!
This is not normal.
The First Amendment is under attack.
No matter what your political views, we must protect free speech—our democracy literally depends on it!
