Oak Flat is sacred.
SCOTUS’s decision not to take up this appeal is an abrogation of the U.S. Tribal trust responsibility and basic human decency.
But, this fight is not over. We will *never* stop fighting to protect tribal lands!
We must stay engaged! Show up. Get involved. Make calls. Write letters. Imagine the future and policies we need and fight for them. Support our communities. Help your neighbors.
It’s easy to feel helpless and hopeless, but we are not. We’re strong, and we will win! But, we must get to work.
The U.S. Constitution provides that key decision-making officials must be confirmed with the consent of Congress through the Senate. The Founding Fathers did this to put a check on the Executive and abuse of power.
We stand with the staff with BLM and all of our federal workers under attack.
Can’t make it to our town hall with Senator Luján this evening? Watch the livestream starting at 6:00 pm MT: www.facebook.com/SenatorLujan...
We are devastated to learn of the passing of Airman First Class Me’lik Etienne of the 351st Special Warfare Training Squadron with Kirtland Air Force Base this weekend. Our heart and prayers go out to his family and everyone grieving. 💔
Grateful to all of our firefighters and first responders on the front lines at Fort Stanton and Lincoln County right now. We are monitoring this fire closely and are in touch with local officials and orgs. Please follow all evacuation instructions and let us know if you need any assistance.
I’m back in the district and holding more Town Halls!
Join us in ABQ with Senator Lujan today, May 27th, and in Valencia County on Thursday, May 29th!
I can’t wait to see you and hear your concerns, hopes, and dreams for NM-01, and answer all of your questions.

This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Their service and sacrifice to this country will never be forgotten.
Today, let us reflect on their courage and commit to supporting those who serve, their families, and our communities. ❤️🇺🇸
🚨 The GOP’s budget slashes access to education.
🎓 Leaves 4 million students without Pell Grants
🎓 NM students face some of the highest poverty rates, and these cuts will devastate their futures
Our students deserve better. This is cruelty, and it’s shameful.
Every Senator must vote NO.
5 years ago, George Floyd’s tragic & final words were heard across the world, with a clarion call for racial & social justice.
We must keep fighting for real police reform, for racial justice, for Black lives, and for the dignity of all people. #BlackLiveMatter
As we’re battling to stop the GOP’s disastrous Reconciliation wrecking ball—we must also GET BIG MONEY OUT OF POLITICS and BAN CONGRESSIONAL STOCK TRADING.
Period.
We’re fighting on every front!
Huge news! Yesterday, a Federal judge halted the Trump Admin’s attempts to dismantle the Department of Education and ordered the *immediate* rehiring of all staff that were unlawfully fired.

In case you’re wondering how I voted:
Absolutely horrified by the deadly shooting at the Capital Jewish Museum tonight. As we await more information—our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their loved ones.
20 hours into this Rules debate and the GOP is about to swap this bill out…
Fun fact: Democratic women make up only 22% of the House of Representatives, but have submitted 52% of the 537 amendments to this heartless reconciliation package.
We’re almost 20 hours into this rules debate and still bringing the heat 🔥 and the heart ❤️ to this fight!
As predicted, looks like the GOP magically found the votes after their meeting with the President. Their key compromise? Make the Medicaid cuts and clean energy cuts sooner. New draft to drop soon…
19 hours later Dems are still holding it down in Rules testifying on behalf of the American people! 💪
If Mr. Musk has time to come to the Hill to talk business deals in the Senate, seems like he should have time to come before Oversight Committee and answer to the American people, no?
🚨 Remember when the GOP and Trump said they wouldn’t touch Medicare???
Well, turns out this reconciliation bill would force the biggest **Medicare** cut in American history, according to the CBO—and that’s on top of the biggest cut to Medicaid and food assistance in our nation’s history.
How many out there think the House GOP holdouts claiming “fiscal responsibility” are going to run back to the Hill after their meeting with the President this afternoon and vote for this deficit-busting bill? 🙋♀️
