Today is World Wildlife Day! Just as we are working for a more climate-resilient future for humans, we must account for the impacts of the climate crisis on wildlife.
Every day, I am working for a better future, from the tiniest creatures on land to the largest creatures in the sea.
Remember when Trump promised to fix the economy?
-Markets diving
-Inflation rising
-Cost of living up
-Basics at all time high
Not to mention tanking our international standing and threatening Americans.
Trump is making America weaker, less safe, and more expensive.
Ramadan Mubarak! I hope this month brings you blessings and guidance. ❤️
We’ve all had that boss… We know what’s up.
Americans are clear: they do not support Elon Musk and these devastating cuts.
This isn’t about efficiency. It’s about looting the federal government, giving Elon Musk private contracts, and mining Americans’ data.
We will continue to fight back.
When five former and bi-partisan Secretaries of Defense ring the alarm bells, we better stand up and listen. To my colleagues across the aisle—these are matters of life and death and national security. Please listen ⬇️
Trans people will not be erased. To everyone out there impacted by these devastating actions and attacks on the trans community, we see you, we stand with you, and we are fighting for you.
Stand strong. 🏳️⚧️

Tribal nations across the U.S. have worked for generations to protect tribal sovereignty, self-determination, and U.S. commitments to tribal communities.
Yesterday, we sent a letter with 111 Members of Congress asking the Admin to halt and reverse harmful cuts to Tribal programs.
Tribal Nations across the U.S. have been impacted by federal funding freezes & the firing of staff at BIA, BIE, and IHS.
These actions undermine tribal trust and treaty responsibilities. We ask the Administration to take immediate action to halt, exempt, and reverse these actions.
One thing is clear: the dismantling of our federal agencies and foreign affairs is making America less safe. And, the American people are NOT. HERE. FOR. IT.
Listen to your communities and stand up—because real lives are on the line—and we will not abandon our people, our allies, or our humanity.
The GAO is the government’s watchdog—and yet, Elon Musk and DOGE are not addressing its high-risk list. And, in fact, they are making it worse.
Maybe it’s because they don’t know what they’re doing… 🤔
This is not a budget—it’s a blueprint for suffering. One of the greatest heists in American history — as the GOP loots the federal treasury to give billionaires permanent tax breaks at the direct expense of the American people.
Black History Month is a celebration of the resilience and contributions of Black Americans throughout history.
In New Mexico, it’s the opportunity to honor and celebrate that Black History is New Mexico History. Today we honor some of our history makers.
Three years since Russia’s attack on Ukraine and Trump has the United States:
- Cozied up to Putin
- Voting against a UN resolution
- Undermining European democracy
- Endorsing far-right parties
- Undermining Ukrainian sovereignty
Serious Question: Who is Trump actually working for?
5 things I did this week:
1. Defended the Constitution
2. Fought back against Elon Musk & DOGE’s reckless assaults
3. Heard heartbreaking stories of impacts to NM
4. Met with Tribal leaders, feds & hundreds of NM worried about the future
5. Headed back to DC for the fight! 💪
Dear Friends in the Federal Workforce,
Federal labor and collective bargaining laws do not give a Special Government Employee outside your chain of command the authority to force your resignation by tweet.
AFGE recommends you consult your supervisor and union. ⬇️
You have rights.
What Elon Musk is doing in Washington is impacting our district. NM is in the top 10 of states for Americans working in the federal workforce.
That is a critical workforce especially for rural & underserved areas. #ICYMI: I joined KUNM to talk about Dems fighting back.

We know our communities are struggling with addiction. It’s imperative we do everything we can at every level to help them.
That’s why I held another roundtable with our partners in Sandoval County to bring everyone to the table to discuss how we combat this crisis. I’m grateful to our partners!
YOUR VOICE MATTERS!
Elon Musk and Donald Trump are hoping people don’t tell their stories about the harms their chaotic and lawless plans have on Americans. But I want to hear from you! Call my office or submit a story here --> democraticleader.house.gov/shareyourstory
K’Lynn’s Southern & Cajun restaurant is a staple in Rio Rancho. I had an awesome time meeting owner Karen, hearing about her journey, and having great food!
Being back in NM means supporting small businesses! I’m always proud to #SupportSmallBusinesses
