They’re children with complex medical needs, seniors in nursing homes, and working families doing their best to stay healthy and make ends meet. These are our neighbors, not numbers on a spreadsheet in Washington that can be used to pay for tax cuts for billionaire campaign donors.
267,788. That’s how many Massachusetts residents will lose their health care because of Donald Trump’s so-called ‘big, beautiful bill’. These people aren’t line items to be slashed, they’re not waste, fraud or abuse, and they’re not “illegals”...
What happened in Boulder is appalling. Targeting elderly Jewish Americans engaged in a peaceful protest on the eve of Shavuot must be called what it is — a heinous act of antisemitism. We must condemn this hateful attack and the rising scourge of antisemitism in our nation.
Happy Pride! 🌈🤍 This month, we celebrate the strength, resilience and joy of the LGBTQ+ community. Pride is a reminder that love is powerful, and that equality is worth fighting for every single day.
Single moms, first responders and people battling cancer: these are the Massachusetts families who are paying the price of the Trump Administration’s attacks on Americans’ health care and food assistance.

On top of massive cuts to health care and food assistance, Republicans hid several provisions in their tax scam that will spell disaster for working families. In today’s Democratic Daily Download, @salinas.house.gov breaks down what the GOP doesn’t want you to know about their reckless bill.
Their sacrifice laid the foundation for our rights and responsibilities as Americans. This Memorial Day, let us reflect. Let us remember. And let us live each day in a way that honors their extraordinary sacrifice. 🇺🇸
Today, we pause to honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation. Memorial Day is far more than the unofficial start of summer – it is a day of remembrance, a moment to reflect on the true cost of freedom.
Ignoring food safety to “cut costs” is like throwing out your smoke alarm to save batteries.    The USDA just fired the professionals who help prevent E. coli and listeria outbreaks. Stupid and incredibly dangerous.
The math doesn’t lie: this bill isn’t about helping working people – it’s about enriching the wealthy at everyone else’s expense. I voted no, and I will keep fighting to stop this dangerous bill from becoming law.
