Another finding of war crimes & atrocities by the RSF in Sudan.
No country should be fueling this murderous group.
That's why we must pass my bill with @sarajacobs.house.gov to stop arm sales to the UAE so long as they keep arming the RSF.
The people of Sudan have suffered for too long.
16 years ago today, SCOTUS sided with big corporations over the American people in their infamous Citizens United ruling.
That decision paved the way for unchecked & secret money in our politics & helped billionaires & special interests buy more elections.
We must reverse it.
A year ago, we stood outside SSA, protesting DOGE's access for just this reason. The Trump Admin denied it. Once again, the truth comes out: they lied.
Meanwhile, DOGE's haphazard firings & disruptions have made life harder for millions of Americans who rely on Social Security.
I've said repeatedly that I will not support one dime of funding for Trump's lawless ICE operations.
The funding bill released today fails to sufficiently rein them in or ensure people's rights are protected.
I'm voting NO.
I just got off the phone with General Mazloum, head of the SDF.
The U.S. must demand the Syrian govt immediately comply with the ceasefire.
The SDF has been our chief partner in the fight against ISIS & we must ensure they're treated fairly in the ongoing integration process.
Full statement:
In yet another outrageous action the Netanyahu gov demolished the UNRWA HQ in East Jerusalem
Netanyahu & Trump have pushed fake propaganda that UNRWA is a proxy for Hamas as far-right politicians in Israel work to erase the Palestinian refugee identity
Europe & the intl community need to stand up
He promised to drain the swamp...
We got massive corruption & insider dealings.
He promised lower prices...
Costs are rising.
He promised no new wars...
He invaded Venezuela, bombed Iran & is warmongering with Greenland.
Trump: Corruption, costs, conflict.

Trump's foreign policy is about one thing: enriching his family & uber rich friends. Look closely & you'll find someone cashing in.
In Venezuela, it was hedge fund owners and oil interests.
With Greenland, it’s billionaires like Trump-donor Ron Lauder, pushing this land grab.
This is deranged. Trump is threatening to deploy our military, blow up the NATO alliance, & spend billions all because he didn't win a prize.
This man has control of our nuclear arsenal.
At what point will Republicans join us to stop him from putting our nation in harm's way?
This is pure, unabashed bigotry.
If a politician said this about any other faith, they would rightfully be run out of their party.
But this kind of despicable anti-Muslim rhetoric is so normalized that a sitting Senator uses it without consequence.
A stain on our Congress.
Dr. King repeatedly reminded us that the inaction of good people was the greatest threat to the pursuit of justice.
Today, in the face of a lawless and tyrannical president, inaction isn't an option. We must continue to stand up, speak up, & fight back.
Arlit Maria Martinez is a mother of 4. Her son, Kevin, died of cancer while she was in ICE custody.
ICE refused her request to be at Kevin's side in his final moments. They must let her attend Kevin’s memorial.
Arlit, I hope you hear how many patriots stand with you.
Trump’s foreign policy is all about enriching his family & rich friends. It was his billionaire donor Ron Lauder, who has investments in Greenland, who told him to buy it.
Now Trump risks the NATO alliance & war with Europe to pad his friend’s pockets.
We can’t let that happen.
Opening fraudulent investigations into Governor Walz & Mayor Frey is a textbook example of prosecutorial misconduct. Judges must start imposing sanctions and holding lawyers accountable.
To every federal official participating in these shams: one day you will be held accountable.
Instead of investigating the death of Renee Good, Trump wants to investigate Governor Walz & Mayor Frey. Despicable.
This is a clear weaponization of justice against Trump's political rivals & a desperate attempt to distract from ICE's growing brutality & Trump's lawlessness.
