There seems to be some confusion over at the White House about the difference between supporting the Venezuelan people’s fight for democracy & invading Venezuela to grab their oil for Trump’s billionaire buddies.
Here’s a hint: one of them is an act of war.
Hope this helps 👍!

🚨 The House just took action to stop millions of Americans' health premiums from skyrocketing. Now it's only Senate Republicans who stand in the way.
Leader Thune, bring this bill to the floor, NOW.
First, they lied about what we saw on video when ICE killed Renee Good.
Now, they're politicizing the investigation by freezing out Minnesota authorities, so the full truth may never see the light of day.
They are breaking our country. We must continue demanding accountability.
Steny has been a tireless fighter for our nation and our state.
Listening to his remarks on the floor of the House this morning was a reminder of how much we will miss his voice in Congress after he retires. [2/2]
@hoyer.house.gov has been an outstanding national leader, a leader in the Democratic Party and a key member of Team Maryland.
From his work to secure our national priorities, like passing the ACA, to his efforts to deliver for Maryland and his district, [1/2]
The Trump Admin continues to lie about ICE's killing of a 37-year-old mom — claiming she engaged in ‘domestic terrorism.”
They have given ICE a massive budget and allowed them to act with impunity.
I cannot & will NOT support any funding for Trump’s ICE’s operations.
We need immediate answers & accountability — we cannot trust a word coming out of this Administration. [2/2]
I have watched the video of the horrible ICE shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis over & over.
It is grotesque to hear Kristi Noem justify her killing as a response to "domestic terrorism” & for Trump to spread further lies on social media. [1/2]
Trump's actions in Venezuela and his Administration's national security strategy are making our nation — and the world — less safe.
They're setting a dangerous precedent, and you can bet Putin and Xi are taking note.
5 years ago, Donald Trump tried to subvert our democracy. He has since pardoned those who beat police officers bloody on that dark day. Now he wants to rewrite history.
We cannot let him.
Trump doesn’t give a damn about democracy here at home, in Venezuela, or around the world.
Kennedy's conspiracy-fueled leadership of the CDC endangers every American — especially our children.
This move fails to meet the scientific criteria for CDC guidance & will cause more confusion around vaccines that save lives.
This man is a threat to our nation’s health.
President Trump’s raised prices with his tariff taxes, shut down the government, allowed healthcare costs to skyrocket — meanwhile he’s sending your tax $ abroad to bail out Argentina & wants to “run” Venezuela to help his buddies in the oil industry.
So much for America first.
Let’s be clear: the Trump Admin is lying to the American people. This has never been about stopping drugs from coming to the US — it’s about grabbing Venezuela’s oil for his billionaire buddies. Trump has put American troops in harm’s way to boost oil company profits. Outrageous.
At a time when he’s caused healthcare & other costs to skyrocket here at home, Trump bailed out Argentina & wants to "run" Venezuela, including if necessary, w/ US boots on the ground. All he cares abt is enriching himself, big bankers, oil CEOs & the rest of his billionaire pals.
Don’t be fooled: you can’t both claim this was simply the execution of an arrest warrant AND say the U.S. is now "running" Venezuela & grabbing its oil resources.
Trump just admitted this was a clear regime-change play to enrich U.S. oil companies & his billionaire buddies.
Trump and his cronies can try to dress this up, but it is an illegal act of war to replace Maduro and grab Venezuela's oil for his billionaire buddies.

Free speech and the right to peacefully protest are universal rights. The Iranian government’s crackdown on these protestors is unacceptable — they must allow Iranians to use their voices without fear of violence.

At midnight, 20 million Americans will see their healthcare costs skyrocket because Republicans refused to extend tax credits that help working people afford care.
Trump promised he’d lower prices on day 1, but this & his tariff tax have done the opposite.
A terrible way to start 2026.
What we long suspected has now been made clear in a finding from a District Court Judge: this Administration’s decision to go after Kilmar Abrego García is a vindictive prosecution.
They’re weaponizing our justice system and threatening the rights of all. This cannot stand.
Another outrageous action. The Netanyahu govt is banning over 30 aid orgs — including CARE, Mercy Corps & Doctors Without Borders groups — from providing life-saving aid to people in Gaza.
Another betrayal of humanity. And, once again, the Trump Admin says and does nothing.
