Today I’m joining @FarmCreditVAs for a five-stop farm tour across Central Virginia.   Follow along as we meet with producers, visit local operations, and highlight the resilience and strength of agriculture here in Virginia’s Seventh District.
By inviting Putin to America, Trump legitimized a war criminal wanted for atrocities. Every photo-op and handshake has turned U.S. soil into a stage for Moscow’s propaganda. Real peace requires strength, not submission. We must continue to stand with our Ukrainian allies.
📣 Calling all student app creators! My office is accepting submissions for the 2025 Congressional App Challenge through October 30. I’m excited to showcase a talented STEM student from Virginia’s Seventh District. For more information or to apply, visit my website.
History tells us that Putin, the aggressor, will only back down when FORCED to back down. We need to exponentially increase the pressure on Russia, and fast. This meeting is not accomplishing that ... at all. I will continue to stand with Ukraine on the right side of history.
Rey from my team was happy to participate in a ribbon-cutting for the Love In Me Education Tutoring online program hosted by the @FXBGChamber. This program is committed to providing students with the support they need to succeed. I'm grateful to our educators who uplift our students.
I know how important it is to be on the ground listening to the folks who grow our food, raise our livestock, and keep our rural communities thriving. I attended the Virginia Ag Expo to do just that. It was great to connect with our agricultural community and hear the stories of our farmers.
As a dad, I know just how important programs like Head Start are in giving every student the chance to thrive I’m glad to see that over $1 MILLION in Head Start funding has been granted to Spotsylvania County Schools I look forward to seeing this program continue to deliver for Virginia students
I joined a bipartisan group urging the @USAirForce to help Ukraine make the most of NATO-donated F-16s — with more training, better maintenance, and the ability to buy stronger air defense weapons for the jets. America’s support and showing strength is how Ukraine wins.
