Deterrence is the key to putting them and our national security first.
Appeasement failed the world before. We cannot afford to repeat that mistake.
When we hesitate to support Ukraine, we are sending a dangerous message to autocrats, especially China.
If we do not stand with Ukraine, eventually American troops will be forced to fight aggressors in East Asia or Europe.
Vladimir Putin invaded a sovereign democracy.
He is betting that the free world will grow tired, that we will turn inward, that we will look away.
We cannot let that happen.
History has taught us time and again that appeasement in the face of aggression only invites escalation.
We saw it in the 1930s, and we’re seeing echoes of it in the Trump Administration’s actions today.
Standing with Ukraine is not charity — it is deterrence.
In Trump’s first 100 days...
Prices are going up📈
401ks are going down📉
Hardworking families across Virginia and the United States should not have to pay the price — literally — for the Trump Administration’s chaos.
Forcing a 4-year-old U.S. citizen with Stage 4 cancer to be deported with his mother and sister tears him from his doctors, his treatment, and his rights. This isn’t border security — it’s cruelty.
American children shouldn’t be casualties of a secure border.
Despite the chaos coming out of the White House, I’m focused on delivering real results for the hardworking families of Virginia’s Seventh District.
I remember when Trump promised to lower costs on “day one.”
Now, 100 days into his administration, the economy is declining, grocery prices are soaring, families have less for essentials, and Virginians are feeling the squeeze.
I was glad to join the PWC Chamber of Commerce for a conversation with @repsuhas.bsky.social this week!
We chatted about what we're most proud of from our first 100 days serving Virginians in the U.S. House and how we're working to ensure Virginia remains the best place in the country for business.
Congressman Gerry Connolly is a public servant defined by courage, integrity, and an unshakable commitment to the Virginians he serves. He has faced every challenge head-on, and I have no doubt he will do the same now.
I’m proud to call him a mentor and friend.
This week, I toured UVA Health's Culpeper Medical Center and met with hospital leadership.
I enjoyed learning more about their thriving nurse workforce pipeline and state-of-the-art cancer treatment center. We even heard the bells that chime throughout the hospital when a baby is born!
On Tuesday, I met with business, education, government, and nonprofit leaders at the GO Virginia Region 6 Economic Development Summit.
We discussed ways we can work together to ensure Virginia remains the best place to live, work, and start a business.
It’s been one month since we first learned that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth endangered American troops’ lives in #Signalgate — and now we know it’s happened more than once.
Keeping him in the job is a disgrace.
I had a great time greeting Virginians at my Fredericksburg District Office open house on Tuesday!
Thank you to everyone who joined to cut the ribbon, meet my team, and learn about the work my office can do on behalf of residents of the Seventh District.
This week, I visited Eugene Triplett's fifth-generation family farm in Culpeper.
As the only Virginian on the Ag Committee, I was honored to visit his farm, hear his story, and discuss how I'm working to save programs that help him sell produce to local churches and schools.
I look forward to the next opportunity to connect with so many residents of VA-07.
If you were unable to attend last night's event, you can reach out to my office by calling (202) 225-2815 or visiting vindman.house.gov.
My team will gladly assist you.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend my town hall in Culpeper on Wednesday!
I was grateful to discuss the issues that are top of mind for the Virginians I serve — like lowering costs, protecting federal workers, and continuing to stand with our allies in Ukraine.
My team enjoyed taking part in last week's Tri-County/City Soil and Water Conservation District's Pasture Walk at Earth's Echo Farm.
I appreciate the important work being done to keep the Commonwealth's resources healthy for the next generation of producers.
I met with SimVentions, an employee-owned defense contractor, at their headquarters in Stafford County this week.
We had a great conversation about the importance of finding innovative ways to provide technical support for the U.S. military.
