Mark R. Warner

Mark Robert Warner is an American businessman and politician serving as the senior United States senator from Virginia, a seat he has held since 2009. A member of the Democratic Party, Warner served as the 69th governor of Virginia from 2002 to 2006. He is vice chair of the Senate Democratic Caucus and vice chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Prices are skyrocketing from the grocery store to the gas pump. But Trump’s top priorities are securing a slush fund for violent Jan. 6 criminals and building himself a golden ballroom. When will he do anything to lower costs?
Donald Trump just keeps claiming the war is about to end… but the truth is, America is still striking Iran. He’s breaking every promise, starting new forever wars, and raising costs on everything.
Groceries and gas prices are soaring thanks to Trump’s illegal tariffs and painful war.   None of these price increases were inevitable – they’re a direct result of policy choices by this President.
The next DNI must be committed to restoring trust in the office, protecting the integrity of our intelligence, and ensuring our nation’s intelligence professionals can speak truth to power, without fear or interference.
At a time when the boundaries between verified intelligence and politically convenient claims have too often been blurred, it is critical that the office remain grounded in facts, independence, and the rule of law.
The Director of National Intelligence is entrusted with one of the most serious responsibilities in government: providing objective, fact-based intelligence to policymakers and the American people, regardless of politics or pressure from the White House.
First and foremost, my thoughts are with Tulsi Gabbard and her family as her husband battles cancer. Anyone who has watched a loved one go through a serious illness understands the toll it takes, and I wish him strength and hope for a full recovery in the difficult days ahead.
Government should work to make things more affordable for Americans – that’s why I’m fighting every week to lower housing, child care, and energy costs. Trump views this government as his personal piggy bank, shaking it down for ballrooms, slush funds, and insider trades.
