Congress just passed the most significant housing legislation in more than 3 decades as we fight to lower costs for hardworking families. Instead of using this bipartisan legislation as leverage to enact voter suppression laws, the president should sign the bill and provide relief to the people!
Yesterday, Donald Trump was supposed to sign a huge bipartisan bill to bring down housing costs. But he didn't. Why not? Donald Trump doesn't care about the cost squeeze on American families. Mr. President: Sign the bill.
The Supreme Court is letting Trump ignore laws set by Congress and send hardworking, legal immigrants into imminent danger in Haiti, Syria, and other violent countries. It’s horrific. This decision is a disaster for the rule of law and a disaster for thousands of families.
Trump’s deal with Iran raises more questions than answers. We need to end this war. And we need to hold Donald Trump—and every Republican in Congress who supported his war—accountable.
Donald Trump’s net worth reached $6.5 billion in 2026 — up $1.4 billion from last year. Meanwhile real wages for working Americans are down. Tells you everything about who Trump is fighting for, and it's not you.
4 years after Roe was overturned, Trump is finding new ways to attack abortion access — now with Moms.gov, his site steering women to anti-abortion centers. Shameful. I’m calling on Trump and RFK Jr. to stop using taxpayer dollars for their anti-abortion agenda.
I don’t say this often these days, but Congress actually passed something good. My bipartisan housing bill to build more housing, lower costs, and stop private equity's housing grab is becoming law.

The Senate just passed the biggest housing bill in more than 30 years. It’s going to help build more homes, lower the cost of housing, and stop private equity from buying up single family homes. This is how we put home ownership back within reach.
If Congress doesn't act now, Social Security benefits could be cut by more than 20 percent after 2032. Senator Bernie Moreno and I have a bipartisan solution: lift the Social Security payroll tax cap. We need to save Social Security for the next generation. Let's get this done.

Too many Americans can't afford a place to live.   There's more to do, but today we took a step to address that problem, passing the ROAD to Housing Act to make it easier to build & access affordable housing — including my bills to improve access for veterans.   My full statement:

BREAKING: For the first time ever, we are stopping private equity from buying up single-family homes in our communities! This will help make housing more affordable, and I’m proud to be working to make the American Dream of owning a house attainable for more families. 🏠

Today, the Senate passed the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, the largest housing bill in over 30 years. This will help boost the housing supply across the nation and crack down on private equity firms buying up single-family homes, so that we can begin to bring down housing costs for families.

Today, we passed the biggest housing bill in nearly 30 years – and Senate Democrats got it done.   I'm proud to have played a key role in crafting this bill that will deliver relief to families in NJ and across this country.   Let's build more housing that YOU can afford.
