This is a disgraceful opinion – decided on strictly partisan lines – and yet another major blow to our democracy.   They've effectively taken the teeth out of the landmark Voting Rights Act and invalidated so much hard-fought progress. A truly sad day.
My Republican colleagues on the Judiciary Committee want us to forget the decades-long campaign to terrorize patients and providers at reproductive health facilities across the country. But I came with receipts.
Republicans said Mexico would pay for Trump’s border wall. Then they used our taxpayer dollars instead. They said his ballroom would be privately funded. Now, they want to use our taxpayer dollars instead. Notice a trend? They kiss his ass. You foot the bill.
Corporations are making record profits while Trump turns his back on workers and wines and dines with billionaires.   In Congress, I'll always champion workers' rights to join a union and stand together for better benefits, protections, and dignity in the workplace.
I’m glad to see California is taking Amazon to task for price fixing. At a time when American families are struggling to afford the basics, no company should be able to wield so much power that they shape the market like this. We need an economy that works for all of us.
What happened at the White House Correspondents Dinner was terrifying. I’m grateful for everyone’s safety and for the quick action of law enforcement. Political violence is unacceptable in all forms. We must build a future where people don’t have to fear violence at public events.
The Trump admin is trying to restrict our access to information about contraception by attacking Title X. They want to force women to have babies they’re not ready for. Thats what this is all about, and we are going to fight it the whole way.
As of today, it’s been one year since Virginia Giuffre’s passing. Her courage has inspired so many survivors and their families, as well as myself and other leaders to keep fighting for accountability for the monsters who committed these horrific crimes. Thank you, Virginia.
Americans rely on the NIH to do cutting-edge research to help us treat diseases. In turn, that research creates jobs and generates economic activity.
The ultra-wealthy wouldn't feel the impact of this loss. You will.
Trump and RFK want to cut more than $5B from the NIH
This massive cut could lose us 50,000 jobs and over $11.5B in economic activity nationwide.
The millionaires and billionaires in this administration wouldn’t feel the difference.
You’d pay the price.
Republicans in Congress are going to new lengths to cover up the disgusting crimes of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislane Maxwell. As I’ve said, we can’t have one system of justice for the powerful and another for the rest of us.
Ghislane Maxwell lured countless children into Jeffrey Epstein’s global pedophile ring. Now, some Republicans are openly floating giving her a pardon. It’s outrageous. We need to end the special treatment for the Epstein class.
RFK, Jr. has been a disaster at HHS. Americans are getting sicker and are in more danger as the result of his “leadership” while he posts topless videos of himself working out in jeans for some reason. Do your damn job.
ICE and CBP still have $150 billion left from the $170 billion they were given in Trump’s budget law last year, and now he wants even more. I’m with the @hispaniccaucus.bsky.social to say enough is enough. Not one more penny to ICE.
Rep. Becca Balint with fellow members of Congress at a press conference in front of the Capitol
Republicans started it and Dems ended it last night in Virginia. We need to get back to drawing these voting maps in a bipartisan way, but in the short term, voters across the country are rejecting the GOP attempts to rig these midterms.
