Donald Trump wants a massive military parade for his birthday—tanks, jets, 6,600 troops—all on YOUR dime. It’s grotesque. A wannabe king playing dress-up with taxpayer dollars. I introduced the HAPPY BIRTHDAY Budget Act to block this nonsense. If he wants a party, he can pay for it himself.

House Republicans are so ashamed of the GOP Tax Scam that they are planning a 1 AM committee meeting tonight to jam it through Congress. In today's Democratic Daily Download, @repmcgovern.bsky.social breaks down what's in this ugly bill and what Democrats are doing to stop it.
There are a few but single digits percentages I’d guess. Vast majority of Congress folk are honest, even if not a lot of profiles in courage lately

Trump’s budget is a disaster for seniors, kids & people with disabilities. He’s looting Medicaid, SNAP & more to bankroll tax cuts for himself, his kids & his Mar-a-Lago pals. Doesn't even matter if you voted for him. If you don’t make at least $400k a year, tough luck: you were never in his club.

The FAA’s old 90-second evacuation tests were a joke. No seniors, no kids, no wheelchairs, no service animals. I authored the EVAC Act with @duckworth.senate.gov to fix that and protect passengers. Now it’s the law—and the FAA needs to follow through with its study that reflects the flying public.

67 dead in a mid-air crash and Pete Hegseth is still letting DOD helicopters operate over DCA. I pressed the FAA on what they're doing to improve safety, but the bottom line is Hegseth needs to get the choppers out. DCA is for takeoffs & landings—VIPs shouldn't take priority over the flying public⬇️

#ProudBlue #MomSky Elonia is at it again. His AI company is polluting a low income area in TN. “Community residents and environmental activists say that since the supercomputer was fired up last summer it has become one of the biggest air polluters in the county.”
A nice gesture is passing the salt and pepper, saying good morning, or pulling a chair out for a lady. A $400,000,000 airplane is not just a nice gesture. It is a bribe.

The GOP are calling 1 in 8 Medicaid recipients “waste, fraud, and abuse" as an excuse to cut hundreds of billions from the program. But a former CMS chief says the real fraud isn't from recipients—it's from health companies overbilling.

It’s not about waste, it's about making the rich even richer.
NO CUTS TO MEDICAID! Protesters disrupt a Congressional budget hearing aiming to kick 13.7M people off their health insurance.
