Under Trump, even Halloween has gotten more expensive. 🎃 Candy prices are up 10.8%. Costumes and decorations cost more than ever. 🍭🍬 Trump's reckless tariffs are crushing working families & Republicans are doing nothing to stop him. tcf.org/content/comm...
A 62-year-old freelance worker in Claremont is at risk of losing his ACA coverage. Meanwhile, Trump and Mike Johnson just extended House Republicans’ taxpayer-funded vacation for another week instead of working to reopen the government or fix the health care crisis they created.
Today marks 154 years since the 1871 Los Angeles Chinese Massacre—one of the deadliest and least known mass lynchings in U.S. history. We remember the 18 Chinese lives lost, honor our community’s resilience, and vow to ensure this history is never erased or repeated.

Ismael Ayala-Uribe's death while in ICE custody was a preventable tragedy. His pleas for help were ignored by those responsible for his care until it was too late. I’m demanding answers and accountability from ICE, joined by 31 of my colleagues.
Happy #IndigenousPeoplesDay!   Our nation's history is incomplete without recognizing the cultural and societal influence of our Indigenous communities. From art to governance, they have shaped the identity of our country.    Today, let’s celebrate their enduring impact and resilience.
Trump is abusing his authority over the DOJ to target those he sees as political enemies. And Republicans, who swore an oath to defend the Constitution, are doing nothing to stop him. We cannot & will not stay silent in the face of Trump's authoritarianism & blatant attack on the rule of law.
