House Republicans just gave Trump the green light to slash billions from programs like public broadcasting & international disaster assistance, all to fund massive tax breaks for billionaires. He’s not fixing the cost-of-living crisis, he’s making it worse to pay for handouts to the ultra-wealthy.

1,000s of low-income seniors have been furloughed & entire communities are losing vital services because the Trump Admin has delayed the release of critical job training funds already approved by Congress.
@jayapal.house.gov & I sent a letter demanding answers & the immediate release of funding.
For more information on our letter please visit: chu.house.gov/media-center...
The Social Security Administration quietly removed key customer service metrics from its public website—while cutting 7,000 staff & delaying services.
Today, I sent a letter with my @WaysMeansCmte colleagues demanding SSA restore these metrics. The public deserves transparency.
Public media like PBS and NPR reaches 99% of the country with trusted news, education, arts, and emergency alerts, even in areas without internet access. As disasters grow more frequent, we need it now more than ever.
I support and I stand with public broadcasting.
I wrote an op-ed exposing Donald Trump's inhumane treatment of immigrants and illegal efforts to block Members of Congress from accessing detention centers.
I won’t stay silent as Trump scapegoats immigrants & terrorizes our communities.

Last night, I stood with our community to honor the 18 lives we tragically lost in the Eaton Fire. January 7th was a night of unimaginable loss for so many of our friends and neighbors. But in the 6 months since, survivors have shown incredible resiliency during each step of the rebuilding process.
It was great to see so many new and familiar faces at the parades in Claremont, Sierra Madre, and San Marino as we came together to celebrate our country’s Independence Day this past weekend.
Happy 4th of July!
Today, as we mark our nation’s 249th birthday, let’s remember our commitment to the true promise of America: liberty and justice for all.
Republicans just voted to gut health care for 17 million people. Kids & veterans will go hungry, and the ultra-rich will rake in $300K a year in tax breaks, all while the poorest pay more.
It’s devastating. This is Trump’s legacy.

The One Big Bonanza for Billionaires Bill is cartoonishly evil — robbing the poor to feed the rich.
Trump’s One Big Ugly Bill is a disaster for everyone, but it's especially cruel towards immigrants. Today I stood with
@ramirez.house.gov & fellow @housedemocrats.bsky.social to speak out against it.
@housedemocrats.bsky.social are united in opposing this cruel legislation that would rip health care away from 17 million Americans just to give more tax breaks to billionaires.
📞 Call your reps and tell them: VOTE NO. youtube.com/shorts/huOHA...
Unlike my Republican colleagues, I refuse to blindly follow Trump’s orders to cut essential programs that millions of Americans rely on.
I’m voting NO to Medicaid cuts. NO to SNAP cuts. And NO to ACA cuts.
Senate Republicans just passed the largest cut to Medicaid in our nation's history.
Now it heads back to the House, where I will be voting NO. I urge my Republican colleagues to find their backbone and finally put the needs of the American people first.
RIGHT NOW, Senate Republicans are scrambling to jam through Trump’s Big Ugly Bill.
This bill takes away health care, guts food assistance, and hands trillions in tax breaks to the ultra wealthy.
Americans deserve better. Call your Senators and tell them to vote NO!
