The federal minimum wage has remained at $7.25 since 2009.
Since then, its value has declined by 30% as prices for basic necessities continue to rise. Today, the minimum wage is a poverty wage, with full-time workers earning less than the federal poverty line.

Today, House Republicans passed the Removing Barriers to Work for Disabled Americans Act, a bill that claims to help remove barriers to employment for people receiving Social Security disability benefits.

That’s why today in @waysmeanscmte.bsky.social I introduced my amendment to ensure that presidential libraries – and the tax-exempt organizations that operate them like Trump’s Presidential Library Foundation – are subject to the requirements of the Foreign Funding Transparency Act.
If Republicans are serious about ensuring certain tax-exempt organizations report contributions received from foreign nationals, then they should also be serious about holding Trump to those same standards.
Imagine wanting to donate to your local nonprofit organization only to be met with intrusive questions about your nationality. Those are the unnecessary barriers Republicans are attempting to enforce by advancing the Foreign Funding Transparency Act.
