This President is: Politicizing our military. Weaponizing our government. Trying to silence political opponents. I’m not going to give a blank check to Donald Trump for this unlawful behavior.

Rep. Crow: Trump views the world through a lens of what he can get out of it. He views this as an opportunity to get something for him, or to enact retribution on his opponents. Everybody who gives a damn about Americans is trying to figure out how we end this shutdown and save people's health care
Donald Trump threatened war on American cities in front of our generals and admirals. This is after calling political opponents ‘scum’ and ‘enemies of the state.’ This is a dangerous moment.
Here are the FACTS. House Republicans have: Worked 12 days since August. Voted to cut Medicaid & take away health care. Tried unsuccessfully to repeal the Affordable Care Act. Failed to stop huge premium increases.
Mike Johnson: "Let me look right into the camera and tell you very clearly: Republicans are the ones concerned about healthcare. Republicans are the party working around the clock everyday to fix healthcare. This is not talking points for us: we've done it."
The lawlessness of this administration is stunning. Ignoring budgets passed by Congress. Going after opponents. Political purges at the Pentagon. Federal agents abusing Americans. If Republicans think I’m going to fund that, they’re out of their god damn minds.
Donald Trump is weaponizing the government against his political enemies & punishing states that didn’t vote for him. We have to speak out now.
The Democratic Party is courageously & unapologetically standing up to protect the health care of the American people. I’m not backing down.
You think it’s hard to get a doctor’s appointment now? Just wait until Republican health care cuts force more doctors & providers to close their doors.
Donald Trump is weaponizing the federal government to try and punish Americans that voted for Democrats in the last election. This spiteful and cruel decision will raise energy bills and mean the loss of good-paying jobs in Colorado. We will not kiss the ring of a wannabe king.
Grocery and housing prices are going up. Health care costs are skyrocketing. Americans are being squeezed everywhere. But Donald Trump is doing nothing to make life more affordable.
Republicans have created a health care crisis. For those with private insurance, premiums are about to sharply increase. The American people don’t support that–and I’m not going to vote to support that.

Rep. Crow: Just imagine the generals and the admirals in that room. They're forced to come back and listen to speeches by a five-time draft dodger and Hegseth lecture them on grooming standards and fitness. Those commanders pulled away from their commands. It has jeopardized those operations
Republicans shut down the government. Workers are being furloughed or working without pay. The price of health care is skyrocketing. But don’t worry, the President is focused on what matters most—continuing the construction of his new ballroom.
The Trump administration has announced construction of the White House ballroom will continue during the government shutdown.
The federal government is shut down. But my offices are OPEN to help Coloradans. Please reach out if you have questions or need help navigating federal agencies.
