Thank you to the Ripon Society for featuring me in the Veterans Day Special Edition this year. I take great pride in my service to our country, but I am even prouder of my family’s military service. (1/2)
Most proud of my family’s history of service. Happy Veterans Day.
Happy 250th birthday to the United States Marine Corps! To all of our Marine Corps servicemembers in CA-31 and beyond, thank you for your service, sacrifice, and bravery for our country.
The Senate has sold out the American people. The promise of a vote on the ACA subsidies does nothing to lower cost. Even if it passed the Senate, Speaker Johnson & House GOP would never bring it up for a vote. Now people will have to choose between healthcare, food, or rent. It shouldn’t be that way.
The Constitution says that we must provide for the general welfare of the people. Not make them go hungry.
The City of La Puente held an early Veteran’s Day Dinner this week for local veterans, their family members, and our local law enforcement. Thank you to the city for hosting this incredible event to honor our veterans and thank you to everyone who showed up!
Thank you to the City of Glendora for hosting a Salute to Veterans Luncheon to honor and thank our local veterans for their service and sacrifice. To all of the veterans and their families in Glendora, thank you for your service!
It was great to meet with some local CA-31 small businesses from the Goldman Sachs #10KSmallBiz program to discuss the need for access to capital and ensuring small businesses can compete for federal contracts and secure our workforce.
@pelosi.house.gov is a trailblazer, an icon, and a true public servant.
For over 40 years, she fearlessly defended Congress, California, and our country.
Thank you, Madame Speaker.
Trump can release SNAP funding and put food on the table for millions of American families. He's choosing not to. Trump is playing political games with the livelihood of working families.

As our communities face the impacts of November’s SNAP funding being rejected by Trump, it’s important to know what resources are available to you. Food banks and pantries throughout California will be open to distribute goods to those impacted. (1/2)
Republicans put us in this crisis and we’re not going to back down from this fight to save healthcare for millions of Americans. Too many lives are on the line.

Trump and House Republicans are robbing the American people. They are ripping away healthcare, destroying access to food and groceries through SNAP, and jacking up prices on household items.
Republicans slashed Medicaid, targeted Medicare, and are currently driving up the cost of premiums. Hospitals and nursing homes are closing from funding cuts and hardworking people will be forced to suffer the consequences. We have had enough of this Republican healthcare nightmare.
