It's almost like our government plays an important role in supporting the American economy and Elon is just a grifter. Oh wait, he is just a grifter. www.washingtonpost.com/technology/i...
The GOP budget makes $880 billion in cuts to vital programs like Medi-Cal, school lunch programs, and funding to fix California roads. And it’s all to pay for a $314K tax cut for billionaires. Elon Musk has already bought the Presidency, but House Republicans decided his payout shouldn’t stop.
Republicans seem to think cutting $880B in Medicaid in their budget proposal is a good idea. Millions of Americans would be affected, including over 280,000 people in the 31st. This isn't a game, and Republicans should stop treating it like one.
The guy with no official role has some nerve, to double down on his ultimatum to federal employees even after President Trump's appointed officials said they could ignore his first email. Who’s really in charge? www.reuters.com/world/us/aft...
Speaker Johnson's budget is disastrous for the 31st District. It would make devastating cuts to Medi-Cal, food assistance for our seniors and kids, and funds used to fix our roads. All to pay for tax cuts for billionaires, like Shadow President Elon Musk.

having a partnership across all levels of government is vital to ensuring my district has the representation it deserves in the halls of Congress.
Thank you to the @sgvcog for hosting us this morning. Until next time!
This morning, I was able to host a roundtable for the mayors and city managers from across CA-31. As I continue to work in Washington, D.C., for the San Gabriel Valley,
President Trump is trying to rewrite history. Russia unlawfully invaded the sovereign nation of Ukraine with the goal of overthrowing their government. If you don’t believe that, then you're nothing more than a Putin stooge. www.washingtonpost.com/world/2025/0...
The CFPB has returned more than $20 billion to US consumers. The only reason Shadow President Elon Musk is going after it is because it was looking into his potentially fraudulent activity at X.

Congratulations to Superbowl champion, Fernando Noriega. Fernando is a proud product of El Monte. Keep up the good work and thank you for being a great example to all in CA 31+
Happy Valentine’s Day to my Valentine, Jacki. Your love and support means the world to me.
DOGE now has access to the Social Security Administration. More than 125,156 CA-31 residents receive social security benefits. And over 145,000 CA-31 residents are 62 or older. Cutting their benefits has nothing to do with government efficiency, it's just cruel. www.semafor.com/article/02/0...
Republicans’, Trump, and Elon have to pass a govt funding bill because they control the House, Senate, and White House. If they can't agree amongst themselves, it's on them. Democrats will prioritize workers, education, seniors, and our constituents and their values. www.politico.com/news/2025/02...
Elon Musk is obsessed with dismantling the government, while simultaneously enriching himself. Tesla was just awarded $400 million contract -- that's not right. That's not what good government is about. I gave a quick update from the Capitol: www.instagram.com/reel/DGBpkRW...
Proud of these military family students for standing up to censorship. There's a reason why DoDEA schools are some of of the best schools in the nation. Sec. Hegseth's removal of books and curriculum will harm students and their academic success. www.washingtonpost.com/national-sec...
Elon Musk's vendetta against USAID will have a disastrous impact on our economy. USAID purchases its food assistance from US farms and manufacturers, and now there's nearly $500M worth of food spoiling at our ports because of Elon's funding freeze. www.cbsnews.com/news/usaid-t...
Shadow President Elon claims he's on the search for fraud and waste, but the wasteful spending he's found has already been paid out. Meanwhile, he's enriching himself by targeting agencies that have been investigating and regulating his businesses. www.npr.org/2025/02/11/n...
The President's latest round of tariffs could raise prices on cars, kitchen appliances, even six-packs of beer. Lashing out at our trade partners is not going to lower costs for everyday Americans. www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-t...
President Trump was supposed to lower costs, but Shadow President Elon Musk's move to shutdown the CFPB would eliminate important consumer protections and rig the market against everyday Americans.

We continue to engage with EPA officials and are encouraged to see that our community-wide pressure has led to the opening of an alternate site near the fire zone. We will keep pushing for even more action!
