DeLauro: The president went to the supreme court to deprive kids of food. Unbelievable. And now wants to deny their parents healthcare.
🚨NEWS HERE🚨
A fork was found in a kitchen!
Throughout America’s history, whenever our nation asked, our best & bravest have answered the call.
American veterans put on the uniform to protect our way of life, & defend liberty & democracy. My gratitude is with every veteran & their families on this day of remembrance.
Hardworking American families will go hungry because of the high cost of food.
While your costs skyrocket, the President and his allies are throwing expensive parties.
Law of the land.
My full statement: democrats-appropriations.house.gov/news/press-r...
The Trump administration has “agreed” to fully fund SNAP benefits, after being ordered to do so by a federal court. Until that money ends up in people’s pockets, this nightmare is not over.
If food assistance is distributed, it'll be despite Trump’s efforts, not because of them.
Early detection is key to surviving breast cancer, but detection is not guaranteed for those who are uninsured & unable to access affordable screenings.
I heard from advocates & survivors who are fearful of what Trump’s cuts to health care will mean for patients.
Fixing the headline: "Trump administration fights tooth and nail to keep food off hungry families' tables"
The Trump Administration is curbing their legal & ethical responsibility by continuing to shortchange families — denying them their full food benefits.
Thanks to @agwilliamtong.bsky.social for continuing to fight for what’s right. What the USDA is doing is illegal.
CT families could pay nearly $140 more in electric bills next year. What is President Trump’s response?
Fighting against energy projects like Revolution Wind that would lower your costs, while building a golden ballroom for himself.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi is a legend– a titan of American politics. But to me, she is a dear friend, confidante, & ally.
She leaves a legacy that has transformed millions of lives & redefined what leadership looks like in America – I'm so grateful to call her a friend.
Hospital leaders in CT made it clear — the expiring ACA subsidies & cuts to Medicaid & Medicare will leave people uninsured & increase healthcare costs.
People will come in sicker & emergency departments will overcrowd. I’m fighting for healthcare because lives are on the line.
MAHA actually stands for "Make America Hungry Again" apparently.
I visited CCA’s food pantry to talk about how Trump’s calculated cruelty is cutting food assistance from families in New Haven where nearly 31,000 residents rely on it.
Mayor Elicker, AG William Tong, & others have sued & the courts agree — Trump must abide by the law & fund SNAP.
ICE is out of control, and people are getting hurt.
ICE is not targeting dangerous criminals, like President Trump promised. They are terrorizing our communities and arresting law-abiding people.
My message is clear: Take off the masks. Follow the law.

I believe Trump knows nothing. Still a bribe.
