While Americans struggle with a cost of living crisis & skyrocketing energy prices from the President’s war of choice in Iran, Republicans have once again turned the NDAA into a vehicle for culture war fights & partisan amendments. I cannot support this bill in its current form.

Millions of hardworking families are going hungry thanks to Republicans cuts to the SNAP program. We have the means to eradicate hunger. Republicans would rather spend your tax dollars on Trump’s vanity projects.

Nationwide, an estimated 4 million people have been kicked off SNAP since the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill, the report finds.

Instead of coming to the table to renegotiate the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement and bring jobs back to America, the Trump Administration is focused on imposing reckless tariffs on Canada, driving up costs for families. Why? Because he thinks wildfire smoke is Canada’s fault.

The Trump administration is undoing fuel-saving efforts even as war in Iran, data centers and heat waves are pushing up gasoline and electricity costs.

Voting is the core of democracy – without it, it does not exist. President Trump is trying to steal your right to vote. Judges blocked him from accessing Connecticut voters’ private information, but his administration won’t give up. We cannot allow him to steal our democracy.
