I’m glad the plaque was finally installed & I will always push back on efforts to rewrite history.

Thanks to Republicans’ budget, the Congressional Budget Office estimates funds for Medicare Part A will run out 12 years earlier than expected.
Republicans chose to fund tax cuts for billionaires over health care for millions of Americans.

It was great to join Redmond’s Festival of Color & celebrate Holi!
Attention: I-405 in Bothell will be closed this weekend & next weekend in both directions due to construction to remove ramps & improve driver safety.
Plan travel accordingly & keep updated on the latest information from @wsdot.wa.gov

HHS Sec. Kennedy has failed to fill NIH Advisory Councils, which will delay critical medical research funding.
That’s why I’m leading a bipartisan effort demanding Kennedy fill these vacancies. We must ensure NIH funding gets to researchers working on the cures of tomorrow.
Today’s job report is a blaring warning sign for the economy.
Republicans’ failed economic policies & Trump’s reckless tariffs are costing jobs & raising prices on American families.
The IRS has damaged Americans’ trust by sharing confidential tax data with DHS & ICE.
I grilled IRS CEO Bisignano repeatedly on how the Trump admin is working to restore that trust.
He refused to say how he will resolve this issue.

The American people deserve to know the plan & justification before rushing into war. That’s why the Constitution gives Congress the authority to declare war – not a singular person.
@adamsmith.house.gov & I discussed the importance of voting for today’s War Powers Resolution.
The American people are demanding accountability & it doesn’t stop with one firing. That’s why I’m fighting for stronger legal guardrails & real oversight.
Under Kristi Noem’s failed leadership at Homeland Security, innocent Americans were brutally killed in broad daylight & ICE agents created violence & terror in our communities. It’s long past time she was fired.
Gas prices have been rising in Washington & across the country. In just a month, the price of gas jumped 43 cents, & spiked in the last week because of the president’s war in Iran.
The Trump administration illegally shared personal taxpayer data with DHS & ICE over 42,000 times.
I pressed IRS CEO Bisignano today on this mishandling of sensitive information & breach of trust with the American people.
Spoke with @wadepthealth.bsky.social Sec. Worsham about how we keep Washingtonians healthy and the serious threats facing our state’s health care system - from canceled research grants to reduced vaccine access.
Happy Holi! I’m wishing everyone who celebrates a joyous & colorful holiday.
Great to meet with local members of the Washington Veterans of Foreign Wars to discuss how we can better support veterans in our community & make it easier to get the quality health care they deserve.
🚨🚨 Americans in the Middle East should be aware of the following safety information:
This Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating the achievements, stories, & innovations of women who have made our country better for us & future generations.
The Constitution grants Congress the power to declare war to prevent unilateral decisions by a king. Congress should pass a bipartisan War Powers Resolution this week to limit this action & provide the American people with answers & transparency.
