Over 40,000 Washingtonians have lost their health coverage because Republicans refused to extend Affordable Care Act tax credits. Families are facing soaring insurance premiums – sometimes triple what they paid last year – costs they can no longer afford.
Americans can’t afford basic needs like groceries, gas, & health care. The White House’s response is to give people who assaulted the Capitol on January 6 a $1.8 billion dollar payout.
The Republican budget proposal reveals their true priorities. Instead of lowering costs for families, they want to waste taxpayer money on Trump’s ballroom & fund ICE without reforms.
House Democrats are suing to block this illegal settlement & stop this corruption.
Trump’s bogus lawsuit was an attempt to pocket $10 billion in taxpayer dollars from the government he’s in control of.
Now the president is trying to “settle” the case by creating a $1.8 billion slush fund that he can use to reward his allies, like those who assaulted the Capitol on January 6.
The Trump administration is letting private companies profit by using AI to delay & deny care to Washington seniors on Medicare. I’m leading the effort to put a stop to this dangerous program & get seniors the care they need when they need it.
Trump is focused on making wealthy CEOs richer & isn’t thinking about you, the ‘little man.’
Great to see @CityofRedmond Mayor Birney in D.C. this week! I appreciate our continued strong partnership working to make our community better.
Even worse they also want to use this slush fund to reward the violent January 6 criminals.
The level of corruption in this administration is unprecedented.
Trump’s own Justice Department is prepared to give $1.7 billion of your tax dollars to the president’s friends & family.

Trump’s war with Iran has made life harder for millions of Americans, raising costs & sending gas prices skyrocketing. The best way to stop this financial strain is to end this reckless war.
Remember when the White House said you wouldn’t pay for Trump’s gilded ballroom? They lied. The president is now demanding $1 billion in your tax dollars for this absurd vanity project.
The Trump administration is letting AI delay & deny health care for seniors. Washingtonians are suffering the consequences. I’m fighting to repeal this program so seniors can quickly get the care they need.
Everyone deserves to feel safe in the workplace, but for too long, sexual misconduct on Capitol Hill has been swept under the rug. Proud to be a part of @demwomencaucus.bsky.social & support this important bipartisan effort.
Mental health is just as important as physical health. This Mental Health Awareness Month let’s continue to reduce the stigma & make sure everyone gets the support they need.
Call/text 988 if you or someone you know needs help.
Millions of families are racking up credit card debt to cover skyrocketing costs, but the White House doesn’t seem to care.
Happy National Nurses Week! Thank you to our nurses in Washington & across the country for everything you do to take care of our communities.
BREAKING: Trump’s war with Iran is making life more expensive for Americans, driving up the price of gas, groceries, & other everyday goods.
Stopped by a Head Start classroom in Redmond to discuss how we can support child care centers amid cuts to federal funding. Wonderful to join story time with Ms. Leslie’s class!
