🚨 Residents of #NC04: I am hosting a Town Hall in Morrisville on Thursday, January 29th!
Join me, Morrisville Mayor TJ Cawley, and Wake County Commissioner Cheryl Stallings to make your voice heard about important issues facing our community.
To RSVP, visit: NC04TownHall.eventbrite.com.
Moments like these remind us why our commitment to democracy, accountability and responsible leadership must remain unwavering.
Americans want foreign policy that reflects what we stand for, but Republican leadership continues to stop any attempts to make a stand against Trump's misguided actions.
Trump's abuse of power is on full display as he threatens our allies in an effort to gain control of Greenland.
Principled diplomacy has strengthened our global partnerships, but Trump's actions have strained the relationships that keep our nation secure.

Thank you, Rep. Foushee.
Like you said, Congress should indeed be impeaching both Trump and Noem.
They are levying war on the American people and committing treason: citizensimpeachment.com/article-of-i...
The House is once again set to vote on a War Powers Resolution, which I am proud to cosponsor, to stop Trump's war with Venezuela.
I joined @ncnewsline.com to discuss why it's important for Congress to end Trump's illegal regime-change oil war that puts our servicemembers at risk.
There is no chance that I'll be voting for the DHS appropriations bill that includes funding for ICE.
Congress should be easing pathways to citizenship and impeaching Trump and Kristi Noem, not bolstering an undemocratic and rogue agency that targets our communities.
In December, Trump came to NC to boast about his economic record.
Now, his report card is out and it paints a clear picture: from tariffs to the Big, Ugly Bill, Trump's economy is hurting working families in our state.
I was pleased to join Book Harvest NC's MLK Day Book Drive to support children's literacy and raise awareness about how local organizations and libraries are helping to bridge literacy gaps.
Our children are our future and supporting their education has to be at the forefront of everything we do.
It was great to join community events across #NC04 to commemorate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Dr. King's vision for a just and equal society remains a guiding light for all of us. We must continue to honor his legacy by working towards a more perfect union every day.
Today, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we honor the life, legacy, and teachings of Dr. King and his unwavering fight for justice and equality.
His work continues to inspire and guide us every single day in pushing towards a more free and just country.
Ahead of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, I joined the Passmore Center in Hillsborough to celebrate the lasting legacy of Dr. King.
His words and values guide our actions as we work to be good stewards and provide meaningful change for our communities.
I'm proud to support these bills, and to have voted against further supporting ICE. I'm calling on my colleagues in Congress to join me before more lives are lost.
What ICE is doing in Minnesota and across the country should terrify every single one of us.
Impeaching Kristi Noem is just the start, we cannot continue to bolster this rogue agency’s budget or turn a blind eye to its policies that are completely incompatible with democracy.
Though I appreciate the efforts to preserve funding for PEPFAR and other foreign aid in this bill, I cannot in good conscience vote in favor of a bill that empowers this Admin’s foreign policy agenda. (2/2)
Today, I made the difficult decision to vote against this minibus package, which provides billions of dollars in military weapons to Israel, gives $850M to Trump for his military actions abroad, and does not properly fund USAID. (1/2)

Trump refuses to properly support our state as it continues to rebuild from the aftermath of Helene, and I appreciate the leadership of Governor Stein who is working to move us forward. (2/2)
I met with Governor Josh Stein alongside the NC Congressional Delegation to discuss ongoing Hurricane Helene recovery efforts. (1/2)
I am proud to be a cosponsor of the bill introduced by @congressmanraja.bsky.social and @joaquincastrotx.bsky.social.
There is no reason we should be trying to occupy or run Venezuela. Our government needs to be focused on lowering the cost of housing and healthcare, not another war abroad.
Today, I joined @robinkelly.house.gov in introducing Articles of Impeachment against DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.
From warrantless raids to the tragic use of force against U.S. citizens and immigrants, Noem’s reckless actions demand accountability. Congress must remove her from office immediately.
I'm proud to celebrate 113 years of Delta Sigma Theta with my fellow sorors here in Washington!
Happy Founders Day @dstinc1913.bsky.social, and let us continue the lasting legacy of our founders through sisterhood, social action, and service.
