Today in Campton, I met with dedicated public servants from the United States Forest Service whose mission-critical work helps to keep our White Mountain National Forest a national treasure. I am proud to be working and standing with the people of our Forest Service. 🇺🇸
New Hampshire’s forests are essential to our way of life. They are a vital source of clean water, thousands of good jobs, billions of dollars for our state’s economy, world-class recreation, and some of the most extraordinary wildlife on the planet.
New Hampshire is a land of opportunity for small businesses like the women-owned Leorah Medspa and Threading which celebrated its grand opening today in Nashua. Proud to fight for New Hampshire’s small businesses on the House Committee on Small Business.
I filed a legal brief in this case challenging President Trump’s lawless trade wars, and the federal court’s decision today is good news for small businesses, farmers, foresters and hardworking people across New Hampshire who are feeling the pain of and paying the price for Trump’s tariffs.
Important conversation this afternoon at the Nashua Center about what GOP cuts to Medicaid—the biggest in history—would mean for the people of NH. In a word: Devastating. I’ve never been more determined to fight back and protect the programs you and your family rely on. I’m never giving up.
Karen Liot Hill and I had an impactful conversation with the people at the heart of this 100% employee-owned NH manufacturer. One key takeaway: the future of manufacturing in our state depends on making housing and childcare affordable and accessible. That’s what I’m fighting to do in Congress.
NH’s small businesses are leading the world in innovation. That includes GEOKON, a Lebanon-based manufacturer of mission-critical sensors in engineering projects worldwide. While venture capitalists are consolidating corporate power, GEOKON placed ownership in the hands of the people who work there.
TRIO Programs are a cornerstone of our nation’s commitment to educational access and upward mobility, especially for students here in NH. I was proud to lead the NH delegation in demanding Secretary McMahon and Director Vought deliver the federal funding NH students were promised.
From arbitrary tariff fees mandated by bigger companies to the uncertainty of the supply chains and higher costs, I will always fight to protect our small businesses and ensure they have the stability and support to thrive. 🇺🇸
Thousands of veterans across NH rely on the White River Junction VA Medical Center for life-saving care. Today, I spent time with providers & employees at the medical center, including AFGE Local 2604, & heard directly about the impacts of federal funding cuts & contract cancellations.
Important discussion in Lebanon with NH DHHS & Dartmouth Health partners who are on the frontlines of delivering life-saving healthcare, including maternal healthcare & substance use treatment. I heard about the real harm GOP cuts—including billions to Medicaid & Medicare—will have across NH.
America is the land of the free because Hudson is the home of the brave. Grateful to be with the people of Hudson this Memorial Day to honor the women and men who gave their lives for our country.   They will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸
I believe we are what we remember—as individuals & a nation. On Memorial Day, it was an honor to be with hundreds of Granite Staters at the Manchester VA Medical Center—veterans, service members & military families—to remember the brave women & men who served our country faithfully in uniform.
Honored to start Memorial Day in Concord with the Concord Veterans Council and fellow Granite Staters to thank our veterans, servicemembers, military families, and first responders for their service to us all and for their sacrifice. 🇺🇸
