SECRETARY NOEM MUST BE IMPEACHED. I was outside ICE headquarters today to tell Secretary Noem that we are fed up with her Gestapo agents. Over 180 members of Congress support impeachment because her actions are unconstitutional. The people have had enough.
🔴 LIVE NOW: Rep. Robin Kelly joins Democrats outside ICE HQ demanding the firing of DHS Sec. Kristi Noem and accountability for ICE abuses. Watch live with @demwomencaucus.bsky.social, @newdems.bsky.social, @hispaniccaucus.bsky.social, @cbc.house.gov, @capac.house.gov & CPC bit.ly/NOEMOUTRALLY
President Trump gutted healthcare—giving a $75 billion check to ICE. No more blank checks. No racial profiling. No masked agents. No occupation of our cities. I’m impeaching Sec. Noem for her lawless leadership, & I’m united w/ @HouseDemocrats.bsky.social in holding this rogue agency accountable.
Transparency is not optional. The public is still being denied critical Epstein Files, and Pam Bondi’s Justice Department must stop withholding information. The DOJ exposed names of survivors—instead of the men who abused them. Full release. Full accountability.
Health insurance CEOs: You are making our healthcare crisis worse. President Trump’s cuts to Medicaid will push millions off coverage, and the expiration of ACA tax credits raised premiums. Their failure to meet this moment and lower costs will endanger lives.
Federal agents shot Alex Pretti, a legal gun owner, and Secretary Noem said he shouldn’t have had a gun. This, from a woman who shot her dog. She thinks the Constitution only applies when it’s convenient. She’s in for a rude awakening.
66 years ago, four young Black students started a lunch counter sit-in movement. They faced hatred with courage. Today, our rights are being rolled back. It’s infuriating. . We fought too hard to go backward. I will continue to fight for justice and dignity.
Black History Month honors our civil rights heroes who fought for our freedoms. In 2026, we must stand just as strong. Our history is under attack, our rights are in jeopardy, and we cannot afford to remain silent. I am here to protect our past and defend our future.
Yesterday, I joined the Chicago City Clerk for their #ShoppinginSolidarity event in the South Shore. My grandparents owned a mom-and-pop grocery store, so I saw firsthand the dedication it takes to run a small business. Loved getting to meet these business owners who keep our community thriving.
I am leading articles of impeachment against Sec. Noem to hold her accountable for her violation of the public's trust.    Secretary Noem has continued to fail Liam and children like him, and she must answer for these continued abuses.
Liam, a 5-year-old boy, should be home with his family and going to school to see his friends. Instead, he’s hungry and depressed at Dilley detention center.    He and his father must be released immediately.
Just visited with Liam and his father at Dilley detention center. I demanded his release and told him how much his family, his school, and our country loves him and is praying for him.
I introduced the SAFE Exit Act to make sure every electric car has a manual door release. At least 15 people have died in Teslas because the door wouldn’t open in an emergency situation. More people have been trapped inside their cars because the power died. I’m fixing this safety failure:
Secretary Noem, you have two choices: resign or be impeached. It is that simple. I am working with over 181 of my House Democratic colleagues to build on my Articles of Impeachment. The clock is ticking, and accountability is coming.
I am saddened to hear of the passing of Christopher Clark, Mayor of Harvey, Illinois.    My deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and the Harvey community during this difficult time.    May his legacy live on.
Under Sec. Noem's direction, ICE has unleashed unchecked terror and Gestapo-style tactics on our communities, from Chicago to Minneapolis to LA. To protect our communities, we must dismantle ICE and #ImpeachNoem. Enough is enough.
Republicans gifted Secretary Noem $75 billion for ICE’s gestapo-style tactics while stripping healthcare from over 15 million Americans. That says everything about Republicans' priorities. The Senate cannot give ICE another dime.
Hadiya Pendleton is always in my heart. 13 years ago today, Hadiya was shot and killed in a Chicago park, just a week after performing in President Obama’s inauguration. I stand with Hadiya’s loved ones as they continue her legacy and fight to end gun violence.
